Korean actress Yoo In Nah officially joins the highly awaited upcoming Korean drama "Snowdrop!"
It was previously reported, on Sept. 17, that the actress was in talks to play the lead female role in one of the biggest Korean dramas next year, "Snowdrop." The rumors was confirmed on Dec. 28, so it looks like "Snow Drop" would indeed be a star-studded series. The drama's story is based on the physical notes of a prisoner who escaped from a political prison camp in North Korea in the past.

The new drama will be spearheaded by the creators of JTBC's hit drama "Sky Castle," Director Jo Hyun Tak and writer Yoo Hyun Min. Moreover, BLACKPINK's Jisoo, Jung Hae In, Kim Hye Yoon, Jang Seung Jo, Yoon Se Ah, and Jung Yoo Jin will also star in the higly-anticipated series. There's no doubt that the drama would rake high ratings regardless of the time slot it falls in.
"Snow Drop" is a story where dictatorship still governs South Korea. It partially revolves around a graduate student named In-Soo Ho, portrayed by actor Jung Hae In. One night, he's mysteriously covered in blood and finds himself going into the female dormitory at Hosoo Women's university, where a freshman who majors in English Literature, Eun Young Cho, resides.

Eun Young Cho, portrayed by actress Kim Ji Soo, first met In-Soo Ho on a blind date and immediately fell in love with him. She helps the man by allowing him to hide inside her dormitory. This allows In-Soo Ho and Eun Young Cho to spend a lot of time together and eventually develop feelings with each other.

Actress Yoo In Na will portray Ka Chung Ya's role, who works as a highly respected surgeon at a state-run hospital. Besides, her wit and talent, her beauty and charms make her irresistible to almost anyone. However, Ka Chung Ya seems to be hiding a secret, which may be the possible reason for her downfall.

Playing the role of Kye Boon Ok will be actress Kim Hye Yoon. She comes from a low-income family preventing her from attending university and continuing her education, so she got herself a job at a women's dormitory as a telephone operator. There, she pretends to be a university student. She then joins Eun Young Cho on a blind date and later gets tangled up in the case.
One of the main characters, Lee Kang Moo, is portrayed by actor Jang Seung Jo. He is the upstanding leader of team one at National Security Planning. When he gets involved in a case, he works hard to never compromise the results no matter what situation he faces.
