‘Love Alarm’ Star Kim So Hyun Finally Bids Farewell to Her Agency
Amidst her continuous successful projects, Kim So Hyun finally bids farewell to her agency.
E&T Story Entertainment has been Kim So Hyun's home agency for the past three years. The actress received amazing projects during her stay in the company.
However, in 2021, she decided to part ways from the agency and is now looking forward to exploring what's ahead of her career.
On Jan. 15, E&T Story Entertainment finally released their statement regarding the news about Kim So Hyun leaving the agency.
According to them, they had a long discussion together with "Love Alarm" star, and have mutually decided that E&T Story Entertainment will be finishing its management of her activities. In addition to their statement, the agency chose to respect the decision of the actress, who has been with them since 2018.
The E&T Story Entertainment also expressed their sincere support for Kim So Hyun's future career, "We would like to thank actress Kim So Hyun, who trusted and stayed with us for almost three years. We are also grateful to all her fans who gave her their never-ending love and support throughout her journey as an actress."
Meanwhile, a representative from Culture Depot confirmed that last November (2020), they had met with Kim So Hyun to talk about the possibility of her joining the agency as her new home in the near future, but it also has been said that there were no final decisions yet.

Meanwhile, Kim So Hyun is currently preparing for her upcoming drama "River Where The Moon Rises" alongside actor Ji Soo. It will also be their second project together after six years. The actress will be portraying the character of Princess Pyeonggang, who is also known as Yeom Ga Jin, a very enthusiastic and persistent woman who wants to pursue becoming the first female to lead the kingdom of Goguryeo. Ji Soo will be her love interest, which their fans are already excited to see.

Aside from the historical drama, Kim So Hyun will be returning on Netflix in the forthcoming Season 2 of the well-received romantic drama "Love Alarm," together with "Sweet Home" star Song Kang and Jung Ga Ram. Their stories about love and friendship will continue to unfold.
"Love Alarm" has gained the attention of viewers during its first season. The complicated yet pure love relationship that Song Kang and Kim So Hyun showed made a big impact to the audience, rooting for a happy ending in the sophomore season.
At the age of 21, Kim So Hyun has become one of the prominent actresses in the entertainment industry. Her acting skills are lauded by viewers around the globe. 2021 will be another year full of growth and opportunities for the young star.
