'Lovestruck In The City' Episode 9 Recap

'Lovestruck in the City' features the realistic portrayal of young people who pursue romance and happiness while trying their best to survive and get by the busy life of the city. The ongoing drama's episode 9 starts with Park Jae Won (Ji Chang Wook) handcuffing himself to Eun-O (Kim Ji Won) and they both head to the police station.
A flashback is then shown where Seo Rin Yi (So Ju Yeon) bumping into her ex at work and how she felt really bad seeing him with another girl. Feeling desperate, she pretended that she was still his girlfriend in front of his new girlfriend to set him up which caused him to break up with his current girlfriend. And even though this event happened 8 years ago, she's still not over it! Kyeong-Jun on the other hand doesn't have a past story to tell given that Rin-I is his one only girlfriend.
In another flashback, we witness Oh Seon Yeong ( Han Ji Eun) talking with her ex Geon. They reminisce how happy they were but they couldn't forget the reasons they broke up. Oh Seon Yeong doesn't like the fact that Geon is close with Sun-RI and Lee Eun-o. She thinks that he harbors a romantic feeling for one of them.

Then the episode goes back with Jae-Won and Eun-O at the police station. The police officers investigate the cameras. An arrest warrant is being made for Eun-O and to make things worse is that she may even go to jail for her felony. Jae-won is now concerned because he doesn't want Yoon Seon-a to be in trouble. The officer eventually reveals to Eun-O that Jae-Won reported her 6 times.

Well, it seems that Eun-O turns the situation on to Jae-won as she continues to hide the truth and tells the officers that Jae-Won gave her his cameras! A story that Jae Won eventually validates. However, for Eun-O to be released from the station, she needs to hand over her ID card. She grabs her ID, but instantly Jae-won takes it off her and discovers her identity as Lee Eun-o. He is shocked to know that the woman in front of him is not the Seon-A he knew.
Jae-Won is understandably very upset with what he discovered and demands an explanation but he is getting no response from Eun-O. He eventually leaves the station and Eun-O chases after him down the street. Eun-O was able to catch up with him and she asks for an apology for telling a lie but Jae-Won is having none of it. Eun-O gave him back the cameras but Jae-won smashes them to the floor and tells Eun-O he hopes they never cross paths ever again.

Jae-won felt betrayed and even considers himself an idiot and took off his ring and throws it in the river and drove off. Down by the stream, however, Eun-O tries to find the relationship ring. Then it has been revealed that Eun-O is actually wearing her ring on a necklace around her neck! She does truly love Jae-won and it's her pride and stubbornness that is getting in the way of their love story.
