‘Itaewon Class’ Wins the Best Drama Award at the Asian Television Award
Year after it finished airing, the hit Korean drama "Itaewon Class" once again proved its power on the previous Asian Television Award.
On Jan 22, JTBC studio shared a good news to its avid viewers especially to the fans and supporters of the drama "Itaewon Class", according to them, " 'Itaewon Class' received the Drama Award at the Asian Television Award (ATA), which was aired live on 15th and 16th through Facebook. Last September the drama also bagged the Excellence Award in the mini-series category at the Seoul Drama Award."
Through its unique and very inspiring plot, "Itaewon Class" has become one of the best dramas that we had in the year 2020. Many viewers from different countries were inspired by the story of the drama. Always the talk of the town, everytime a great episode has been released. The intense acting that the characters in every scene makes it more exciting to watch.
Meanwhile, Kim Sung Yoon, the director of the series expressed his gratitude for receiving another recognition for the drama, "I would like to thank all the actors and staff who worked hard for this meaningful work. I want to share this honor with them."
Based on a webtoon series, "Itaewon Class" was able to show the inequality that is happening in our society.

Korean content is more than just for entertainment, but most of the time, these series can become a turning point to someone's life to start again, to move forward, and to continue achieving their dreams. Through this kind of show, audiences are being educated, entertained, and well-informed on what the reality is trying to make.
Through Korean dramas, we were able to enjoy a roller coaster of emotions, and get a lot of values and learnings after watching it. The emerging success of Korean dramas is proof that every story was beautiful just the way it is. The reality that we have today is the continuing story from yesterday, and will be an inspiration to other people someday.
