Park Na Rae Creates Buzz for Her Honesty Regarding Sex in Video Teaser for ‘Story Survival’
Comedienne Park Na Rae became a hot topic online due to her participation in KBS Joy's new variety program, "Story Survival," where she openly discussed sex. Read on to learn more.
The theme of the show is to discuss different situations in a "would you rather" type of set-up. The show's host as well as the guest will answer the "would you rather" questions that are sent directly from the viewers of the program, which creates a unique and dynamic environment.
In the show's video teaser, the hosts surprised the viewers with how they honestly answered some of the interesting questions sent by the viewers. In the teaser, comedienne Park Ji Min, one of the hosts, was questioned: "Would you rather poop in the street to receive 3 million won ($27,000 USD) or take 1,000 won ($9,000 USD) to poop at home?"

At first, Park Ji Min somehow hesitated to answer. Then, she decided to answer stating that we would choose to confidently poop in the street for 3 million won. She continues, the reality is, in life, everything is all about money!
Next is actress Hwang Bo Ra who appeared to be really confused with her two options. She was asked if she would rather find her partner's underwear at her best friend's place or find her best friend's underwear at her partner's place.
We can agree, thought, that that this is a difficult question to respond to! The teaser did not reveal which option she chose, but it did feature the actress going through a bit of a mental breakdown as she tries to reach her final decision.
So, What Was Asked to Park Na Rae?
The next question then set in the internet on fire within the South Korean entertainment industry when Park Na Rae was asked: "Would you rather not have a conversation with your partner for a year and only have physical intimacy or have a non-sexual relationship with no physical intimacy for a year?"
To which the comedienne openly shared her thoughts on the question, commenting, "Isn't this question quite easy? If you're physically intimate, is there a need for you to talk about certain things? Is talking even important? The 'communication' between two bodies is more important."
She further explained her statement which completely crushed the way of how the Korean TV entertainment industry oftentimes avoids intimate topics like intercourse.
Park Na Rae expressed, "Why do you date if you're not going to be intimate and have sex?"
KBS Joy's new show, "Story Survival," is scheduled to premiere on February 11 at 8:30 p.m. KST.
