Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, GOT7 Jinyoung, and Park Gyu Young Confirmed as Main Cast of New Drama ‘Devil Judge’
tvN's newest drama, "Devil Judge," finally confirmed its main cast!
The upcoming drama aims to convey a message about justice through a live courtroom show, where everyone can be involved and participate. Honorable and the "devil judge" Kang Yo Han will appear in the middle of chaos and confusion, a savior of individuals who need his help but can also be a demon who wears the law's mask.
Ji Sung, GOT7 Jinyoung, and More: "Devil Judge" Boasts an Impressive Cast
On Feb. 3, tvN announced to the public the confirmed actors who will be part of the upcoming drama, namely Ji Sung, Kim Min Jung, GOT7's Jinyoung, and Park Gyu Young.
"Doctor John" star Ji Sung will be portraying Kang Yo Han, a head trial judge who is always ready to hunt down villains. He is the "devil judge" inside the court who wears the mask of the law to punish all the people who keep on committing injustices in the society. Aside from his charismatic visuals, Yo Han hides a mysterious personality that he cannot show to anyone yet.
Kim Mi Jung is Jung Sun Ah. She is an executive director of a foundation and will be the mortal rival of Kang Yo Han. With her gorgeous physical appearance and brilliant brain, it is not impossible for her to be a passionate and persistent leader, who commands and controls the nation with her strong connections with the biggest name in different industries including Kang Yo Han.
Meanwhile, returning on the small screen is actor and GOT7 member Park Jinyoung. He is set to play the role of associate trial judge Kim Ga On. His presence seems to be the only hope in a dystopian world. When he was still a child, he has a painful past: Kim Ga On lost his parents.
Due to lack of support, he worked hard on his own and pursued a career in the court. He is persistent when it comes to work, but in the process of observing Kang Yo Han as a respected judge will lead him to confusion.

"It's Okay to Not Be Okay" actress Park Gyu Young will be portraying the character of Yoon Soo Hyun, a police detective in a regional investigation unit who is determined on the search for Kang Yo Han's secrets.
Kim Ga On and Yoon Soo Hyun are long time friends. They grew up like brothers and sisters. Even though she has a charming and easy going personality, Kim Ga On is the only person who cannot recognize her charms.
"Devil Judge" to be Helmed by "Children of Nobody" Director, Choi Jung Gyu
"Devil Judge" will be premiering in the second half of 2021. It will be directed by Choi Jung Gyu, the man behind "Children of Nobody," and will be penned by writer Moon Yoo Suk, who wrote the magnificent script of "Miss Hammurabi."
