‘The Penthouse' Season 2 Drops Stills Featuring Kim So Yeon's Glamorous Comeback
The much-anticipated second season of the SBS's hit drama "The Penthouse" released the glamourous look of Kim So Yeon's character!

"The Penthouse" first season became a massive hit that the production decided to extend the show. Upon revealing the great news, fans were overjoyed and can't wait what's in store for the characters of the megahit drama.
As a refresher, the drama revolves around the rich and famous residents of the extravagant building called Hera Palace. The people who reside in this place all have dark secrets and murky pasts, and their children are no better.
It stars three talented actresses namely Lee Ji Ah who portrays the character of Su Ryeon, known as "the queen" of the penthouse, Kim So Yeon as the ever-ambitious and ruthless opera singer Cheon Seo Jin and Eugene Oh Yoon-hee, a woman who will do whatever it takes to be part of the high-class society.

As of press time, the show quenches the fans' thirst by dropping stills of the upcoming drama. The sneak peek photos feature Kim So Yeon's glamorous comeback!
In the previous season, viewers were very amazed by how the actress was able to portray her role flawlessly. She starred as the vicious Cheon Seo Jin, a wealthy yet very ambitious woman who is the epitome of boastfulness and arrogance.

For those who have seen the first season of the drama, surely, you have witnessed the highs and lows of Cheon Seo Jin. She was about to reach rock bottom but she was able to end the season being on top. Cheon Seo Jin took hold of Chung Ah Foundation after abandoning her dying father. Plus, she was able to win back Joo Dan Te (played by Uhm Ki Joon) and became close to achieving her ultimate goal of moving into the penthouse.

On Feb. 5, "The Penthouse" Season 2 dropped the first stills and hinted at what to expect from Kim So Yeon's character in the much-anticipated season.
In the photos, we can see her dressed in a ravishing red gown, with her power and glamour exuding as she transforms into the scheming Cheon Seo Jin.
Another photo features Cheon Seo Jin preparing herself to attend an important event. Though she may be doing the simple task of choosing her outfit, we can still see the determination and unstoppable ambition in her eyes.
The drama's producers share their thoughts on Kim So Yeon's acting in the drama, saying that the actress had performed her character as Cheon Seo Jin flawlessly with her unrivaled passion and extraordinary charm. They continued stating that Cheon Seo Jin will be even more vicious and brutal in Season 2.
