Pyo Ye Jin Feels “Comfortable” Working with Lee Je Hoon for Upcoming Drama ‘Taxi Driver’
Pyo Ye Jin revealed her working relationship with fellow actor Lee Je Hoon in their upcoming drama "Taxi Driver."
In a new report, the 29-year-old celebrity details her experience on her comeback project. To recall, this will be her first drama since she starred in the hit SBS drama "VIP" back in 2019.
Pyo Ye Jin Enjoyed Filming "Taxi Driver"
During the interview, she mentioned how thrilled she is to return to the small screen and is "looking forward" to her character.
Moreover, she says that the genre and her character make it more exciting since it's different from her previous roles.
"Above all else, I'm especially enjoying filming each and every episode [of 'Taxi Driver'] because the genre and character are so new for me and different from what I've experienced in the past, and it feels fun and new," she mentioned, adding that she's "grateful" to be working in a happy environment with "overflowing thoughtfulness and consideration."
Directed by Park Joon Woo, "Taxi Driver" is based on the popular webtoon of the same name, which revolves around the strange taxi company that offers a unique "revenge-call" service.
Pyo Ye Jin will portray the role of Ahn Go Eun, a tough yet talented hacker who works for Rainbow Taxi company. She is working alongside Lee Je Hoon's character, Kim Do Gi, a former special forces officer who works as a driver for a mysterious taxi service.

Pyo Ye Jin's On-Screen Chemistry with Co-star Lee Je Hoon
Aside from the positive working environment, Pyo Ye Jin also lauded her co-actor, Lee Je Hoon.
She says that the "Where Stars Land" actor happily answers a lot of her questions, which makes her more comfortable on the set.

As for her new role, she described Go Eun as someone who exudes "confidence and charisma" despite being the youngest in the group.
Furthermore, the "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" actress says that her character's "no-nonsense personality" makes it more interesting.
In terms of her similarity with her "Taxi Driver" character, the actress says that Go Eun resembles her the most out of all her previous roles.
Pyo Ye Jin revealed that she and her character both have "full of spirit" and "easygoing" person.
When it comes to differences, the "love Returns" star confessed that she's "tech-illiterate," adding that "not very good with technology" and always gets amazed by the latest device on the set.
Moreover, she also revealed how the director helped her to internalize her character more and thanked him for guiding her as she gives justice to Go Eun's role.
In the end, she encouraged the viewers to watch her upcoming SBS drama and pointed out that "Taxi Driver" is packed with "different fun stories."
Prior to the official announcement of the "Taxi Driver" cast, Pyo Ye Jin replaced APRIL's Naeun as Ahn Go Eun.
This was due to the bullying allegation that the singer-actress is currently facing.
