When Go Gun first met Lady Hae Mo Yong (Choi Yu Hwa), she was just a colleague to him until he discovered that she is a spy from Silla.

Since then, the general became curious about her real identity. At first, he wanted to be close to Hae Mo Yong to know the princess's whereabouts after she left the palace.

He was amazed at how brave and smart Hae Mo Yong is - Go Gun finally found a new friend. The general finds himself visiting the lady every time he has a problem or needs guidance.

Upon knowing he can no longer get the heart of the woman he loved, Go Gun began to forget his feelings towards Pyeonggang.

In Episode 13, Hae Mo Yong shared a kiss with General Go Gun, and it was her way of showing her true feelings towards the man she has been admiring for years.
