Shin Hye Sun Might Dominate the Big Screen with "Open the Door"
According to media reports, Shin Hye Sun is preparing for a new project. Then, on April 2, her home agency YNK Entertainment clarified the reports and released their statements that the "My Golden Life" star received an offer for the forthcoming movie "Open the Door."
According to YNK Entertainment, "It is true that our artist Shin Hye Sun has received a casting offer for the film 'Open the Door.' But, there is no final decision yet if she will be considering the role."
"Open the Door" is a spin-off of Gong Hyo Jin's 2018 film "Door Lock." It's a Korean remake of the 2011 Spanish thriller movie "Sleep Tight." It depicts the story of an ordinary woman who's been living alone for years and will find herself entangled in an unexpected incidents after buying a secondhand washing machine.
The director of "Insadong Scandal" and "Perfect Game," Park Hee Gon will be the one to helm the movie. Further details regarding the cast and production are yet to be announced.

Shin Hye Sun's Successes, Activities through the Years
If the "Angel's Last Mission: Love" star accepts the offer, this marks her first movie in 2021. Shin Hye Sun's latest films were "Collectors" and "Innocence" in 2020.
The 31-year-old actress catapulted a bigger stardom with her megahit and record-breaking series "Mr. Queen," alongside actor Kim Jung Hyun. She was lauded by her outstanding performance in portraying the character of Kim So Yong.
She also gained lots of Best Actress Awards from her previous drama projects, such as "My Golden Life," "Angel's Last Mission: Love," and "Still 17."
Shin Hye Sun's versatility is being recognized every year. She can perfectly deliver every character given to her.
According to his previous onscreen partner Kim Jung Hyun, the actress was very hands-on in her work. He admires Shin Hye Sun for her hard work and dedication at work.
