‘Navillera Episode 5: Song Kang Finds a New Family in Park In Hwan

Song Kang and Park In Hwan have once again captivated the hearts of the viewers with their bromance that transcends through generations in "Navillera" Episode 5. 

The latest episode of tvN's evening drama featured how the characters attempt to go after their dream to find their true happiness.

Sim Deok Chool Gets Impatient to Learn Ballet

"Navillera" Episode 5 started off with Lee Chae Rok (Song Kang) struggling ahead of the audition.

Due to the pressure to get in, he seems to lose his focus and lashes out his frustration towards Sim Deok Chool (Park In Hwan.) At the time, he is eager to learn intermediate ballet and wants to speed up his improvement to be at Chae Rok's level.

During their heated conversation, the 23-year-old dancer told Deok Chool to take things slow and let him focus on his competition.

Moreover, he also advised him to go home and practice on his basic moves first. Ki Seung-Joo heard their argument and spoke to Deok-chool in private.

The ballet studio owner gets honest with the 70-year-old and tells him that he is getting a "little impatient." He explained that ballet is all about process and dedication, adding that learning the dance half-heartedly will be useless if he rushes things.

Realizing his mistake, he apologized to Mr. Ki for pestering Chae Rok in the middle of his training, making him lose his focus.

The next day, he appeared at the building but did not enter the studio. When Chae Rok saw him, he advised him to rest and not be too competitive about his progress.

In addition, he mentioned that he should enjoy and have fun with ballet. We all know how passionate and serious Deok Chool is to learn the dance. He explained that this is not just a hobby for him and told Chae-Rok that he has goals.

Lee Chae Rok Saw a Family in Sim Deok Chool

"Navillera" episode 5 also featured the importance of family.

In the latest episode, Sim Deok Chool's wife, Choi Hae Nam (Na Moon-Hee), has learned to accept her husband's passion and has now been supportive of him.

One day, Deok Chool introduced Chae Rok to his wife and asked the 23-year-old to join them for lunch.

At the time, viewers can sense that Chae Rok missed having a family.

After having their lunch, the trio settled in the living room area as Choi Hae Nam mentioned to Chae Rok that she has never seen ballet before.

Moreover, she also told the ballet teacher that she has never seen her husband with so much passion and excitement in his life.

When he is about to leave, he thanked the couple for their hospitality and mentioned that this reminds him of his family.

Sim Deok Chool advised him to reach out to his father, saying, "Call him if you think of him. Run to him when you miss him."

As the duo parted their ways, Chae Rok looked at his phone and was ecstatic to see a text message. He told his manager that he passed the first round and will move on to the next stage.

On his way home, Chae Rok remembers what Mr. Sim told him. He took his advice and called his father to inform him about his plans to join a competition.

His father expressed how proud he is of his son and mentioned that he wants to watch it.
