‘Penthouse 2’ Concluded with Unbeatable Seven-Week Run as the Most BuzzWorthy Drama
"Penthouse 2" ended its second season with a perfect streak as the popular SBS series sits at the number one spot, being the most buzz-worthy drama.
According to Good Data Corporation, the suspense thriller program held the top rank for seven consecutive weeks since its premiere last February 19.
Based on the research company, the data showed the top ten dramas that managed to generate massive news from social media posts, blog posts, videos, and online communities starting March 29 to April 4.
With this, the hit SBS series dominates the ranking as it consistently marked the top spot, making it the most talked-about evening drama.
To recall, the "Penthouse 2" finale, which closes on its 13th episode, last aired on April 2; however, per previous reports, the popular program is gearing up for its next install as "Penthouse" season 3 is scheduled to premiere sometime in June 2021.
This was followed by tvN's "Vincenzo" starting Song Joong-ki that sits at the second rank, while KBS 2TV's "River Where the Moon Rises" and tvN's "Mouse" came in third and fourth.
Meanwhile, the fifth-place belonged to JTBC's psychological thriller drama "Beyond Evil."
Surprisingly, tvN's "Navillera," starring Song Kang and Park In-Hwan, climbs up at sixth place.
As for the Park Shin Hye and Cho Seung-Woo's sci-fi series, "Sisyphus: The Myth," maintain its seventh spot whole KBS 2TV's "Miss Monte-Cristo" and the KBS 2TV's "Revolutionary Sisters" ranked at the eighth and ninth spot.
Capping off the top ten is MBC's recently debuted "Oh My Ladylord," featuring Lee Min-Ki, Nana, and Kang Min-Hyuk.

Moving on to the most talked-about actors or actresses, "Penthouse 2" managed to hit the top rank as Lee Ji Ah reigns on the number one spot.
Since her comeback in episode 6, the 42-year-old A-lister sent the internet into a frenzy with her surprising return as Na Ae-Gyo for season 2.

She was then followed by "Vincenzo's" Song Joong Ki, who sustains his second rank.
For the third to fifth place is the "The Penthouse 2" stars Uhm Ki Joon, who portrayed the role of the devious Hera Palace owner Joo Dan-Tae, followed by Eugene, who played Oh Yoon-Hee and Park Eun Suk as Logan Lee.
"Penthouse 2" finale also showed the heartbreaking death of Logan Lee that Shim Su Ryeun or Na Ae-Gyo witnessed.
On the other hand, the sixth spot was owned by "Mouse" star Lee Seung while the seventh and eighth rank was held by "Penthouse 2" cast Kim So Yeon and Kim Hyun Soo.
Meanwhile, "Vincenzo" cast Jeon Yeo Bin, and 2PM's Taecyeon sits at the bottom two ranks.

"Penthouse 2" Cast Says Goodbye to Fans
As the popular evening drama bids goodbye, "Penthouse 2" cast expressed their utmost gratitude towards the fans, who supported them since day one.
In a report cited by a Korean outlet, Eugene thanked the viewers who gave them love from the first season up to its second season.
"Since we kept filming after season one without any breaks, all of the actors and staff were exhausted, but I'm glad we were able to wrap up filming safely without any incidents," she mentioned, adding that the actress is encouraging fans to support them for the drama's third installment.
The same goes for Kim So Yeon, who mentioned that she's thrilled that the show ended safely.
Moreover, she revealed that "Penthouse 2" is her first drama with multiple seasons and says that she's "thankful" to be a part of such an incredible cast.
