"The King's Warden" has officially passed 15 million viewers, making it one of the biggest box office hits of the year. Showbox, the distributor, shared behind-the-scenes photos of the cast and crew celebrating the milestone on set with laughter and friendship.

An Instagram post said that the movie has done better than they thought it would. A spokesperson said, The King's Warden surpasses 15 million viewers," which shows that the movie is still doing well since it came out.
The team thanked the audience and said, "Opened on the first day of spring, The King's Warden is now preparing to welcome the cherry blossoms. We sincerely thank the 15 million viewers who have accompanied us on this endless journey of success," according to Naver.
The pictures that came out of filming show director Jang Hang-jun with actors Park Ji-hoon, Yoo Hae-jin, Yoo Ji-tae, Jeon Mi-do, and Lee Joon-hyuk. The cast members holding bouquets and smiling big smiles make for a warm and fuzzy atmosphere behind the scenes.

The historical drama is about Eom Heung-do, a village head who volunteered to go into exile to bring Cheongnyeongpo back to life in 1457, and the young former King Danjong, who was dethroned and sent into exile. "The King's Warden" not only had more than 15 million viewers on its 50th day of release, but it also became the third highest-grossing film in Korean box office history, with the most money made so far. Showbox says that the movie has made about 144 billion won (about $110 million) so far.
