‘Vincenzo’ Episode 16: Enemies to Feel the Wrath of Song Joong Ki's Pain

"Vincenzo" Episode 16 took the online world by storm as the wrathful Vincenzo Cassano (Song Joong Ki) barges in the enemies' turf, showing no mercy. 

Babel Group's CEO Jang Han Seok (2PM's Taecyeon) succeeded in provoking the mafioso, and now, a much more cutthroat war is about to unfold.

We only have 4 episodes left, but the best is yet to come. Read on how the darkest incident occurred in Vincenzo's life.

Vincenzo Proves His Innocence

Caught in a trap, Vincenzo Cassano wanted to clear his name after he was framed of murdering Oh Jeong Bae. He managed to flee with the help of Mr. Tak.

Luckily, Byebye Balloon's owner Park Seok Do (Kim Young Woong) found one of the men behind the Oh Jeong Bae's murder and beat him up.

And together with Hong Cha Young (Jeon Yeo Bin), Mr. Tak (Choi Duk Moon), Park Seok Do, and Jeon Soo Nam (Lee Dal) were able to bring the real culprits in front of the police station and smoothly cleared Vincenzo's name.

Meanwhile, inside the Wusang office, Choi Myung Hee (Kim Yeo Jin) found out that Vincenzo escaped again from their trap. The cops, instead, searched for Park Do Hun (Jung Yeon Woo), the one who they asked to take the fall after failing to catch Vincenzo.

The continuous killings are now starting to bother Mr. Han and warned Choi Myung Hee to start cleaning up the mess. He doesn't want to ruin his law firm's image futher and urged Myung Hee to stop fulfilling the wishes of the Babel Group's psychopath CEO.

Vincenzo's First Family Photo

Hong Cha Young, Vincenzo, and Oh Gyeong Ja went on a short trip. The first thing they did was to fulfill Oh Gyeong Ja's wish of having a picture taken. The lady lawyer used this as an opportunity to have Vincenzo and his mother take a photo together. Genuine emotions were shown by the two, and naturally projected a mother and son relationship.

The three went for a walk but Hong Cha Young made an excuse to give Oh Gyeong Ja and Vincenzo some time to spend together.

Oh Gyeong Ja confessed that there was not a single day she didn't miss her child. She said her son was her everything, and looked for him for years but failed.

Upon hearing these words from his mother, Vincenzo couldn't help but burst into tears. As the conversation deepened, tears filled both the eyes of Oh Gyeong Ja and Vincenzo.

When they finally returned to the hospital, Hong Cha Young and Vincenzo recieved a warm, grateful hug from Oh Gyeong Ja. The mafia lawyer got emotional again, because this is the first time in forever he was able to feel his mother's embrace.

Geumga Plaza is in Danger

Geumga Plaza tenants went for drinks and celebrated Lee Cheol Wook (Yang Kyung Won) and Jang Yeon Jin's (So Ye Hwa) new milestone in their married life.

However, amid their happy faces and exchanged laughters, Jang Han Seok sent someone to cause a gas leak inside the complex.

Fortunately, a group of firemen came and that was when the Geumga Plaza residents found out they were in a life-death situation. Vincenzo followed the firemen checking what caused the leak. When they found a watch, Vincenzo immediately grabbed and rushed to throw it out of the window.

When the timer burned on a spacious pavement, it signaled that the whole building would've exploded, and they would've all lost their lives.

Vincenzo and his squad were curious, though, who reported the incident.

Choi Myung Hee and Jang Han Seok finally found where Vincenzo's mother is confined. Then, the Babel's CEO paid a visit to Oh Gyeong Ja in the hospital and spent some time talking to her.

At the Jipuragi office, after seeing their family photo, Vincenzo decided to visit his mother and bought her favorite snack, bungeoppang. He told Hong Cha Young, via a phone call, that he would finally tell her he's her long-lost son.

Sadly, he was too late. His mother was killed.

This awakened the monstrous side of the former mafia lawyer, which he had been suppressing from the start upon his retirement. He checked the CCTV footage and looked for the murderer. Hong Cha Young arrived and saw the sorrow and rage through Vincenzo's eyes.

Before he left, the lady lawyer told him to make the culprit pay for what he did.

Vincenzo Transforms into a Wrathful Mafioso

Vincenzo went to the killer's house and beat him up. His eyes were filled with rage and pain as he battered the culprit. The consigliere tortured him until he spilled the one who ordered him to kill his mother.

At his home, Jang Han Seok and his allies celebrated their victory of killing Vincenzo's mother. But in the middle of their conversation, Choi Myung Hee threw Jang Han Seo (Kwak Dong Yeon) and Mr. Han under the bus.

Amid their heated discussion, Choi Myung Hee heard someone walking through the door. They were all shocked after the man who killed Vincenzo's mother, covered in blood, barged in and was asking for their help.

Vincenzo then came into view - he pulled the trigger of his gun and shot the man's head in front of Jang Han Seok and his allies.

Blood splattered on Myung Hee's face, and everyone was showered by shivers as they are now facing the wrathful mafioso, Vincenzo Cassano.

Meanwhile, "Vincenzo" episode 17 and episode 18 will be aired on April 24 and 25, respectively. The production team decided to give the drama a one-week hiatus to ensure its quality.

The good news is that tvN will release a special "Vincenzo" episode on April 17!
