"Navillera" episode 7 gets more intense as Song Kang's character discovers devastating news about Sim Deok-Chool's health, played by Park In-Hwan.

In the latest episode of the tvN drama features the deeper connection and friendship between the two despite their huge age gap and outlook in life.

Choi Hae-Nam asks Lee Chae Rok to help her find Sim Deok-Chool

As featured in the previous episode, the 70-year-old is showing signs of forgetfulness after being lost inside an aquapark. His wife, Choi Hae-Nam (Na Moon-Hee), called Lee Chae-Rok for help and told her that her husband is missing.

He then rushed to the area to look for Deok-Chool, and after minutes of searching, Lee Chae-Rok found him in one of the rooms. Choi Hae-Nam was furious, but her husband was super apologetic for what happened.

The Reminder

"Navillera" episode 7 also showed that the 23-year-old ballet dancer slowly realizes that he should not rush things. It came after his coach Ki Seung Joo (Kim Tae Hoon) invited him to his place and told him the performance that dragged him off stage for good.

There, he mentioned that he was at his lowest point when he saw Lee Chae-Rok in his ballet studio and shared that he wants him to see him perform on stage on his behalf.

At the time, he also told his dancing manager that he won't continue the competition and will just wait for another opportunity.

When Sim Deok Chool Take it to the Next Level

Since Lee Chae Rok saw that Deok Chool has been improving and wanted to take his training to the next step.

At the ballet studio, he noticed that Deok Chool has been doubting himself. This was also noticed by Ki Seung Joo and invited them to see the new studio of his colleague.

The 70-year-old was in awe after seeing ballet dancers strut their moves gracefully on the dance floor.

There, Chae Rok pushed his student to their limits and encouraged him to dance in front of the crowd. Moreover, he also told him that this would serve as a practice before his performance on stage.

Following his impromptu performance, everyone applauded him for being able to pull out a dance routine.

Lee Chae Rok Finds out Sim Deok Chool has Alzheimer's

Unfortunately, it wasn't only Chae Rok who was feeling devastated and disappointed on the inside but also Sim Deok Chool.

In their locker room at the ballet studio, he found the 70-year-old's journal containing their lessons and Chae Rok's activity. Scanning through the pages, he saw a photo of Sim Deok School with a complete name and address.

At first, he thought it was a bit old fashioned, but he discovered Mr. Sim's heart-wrenching secret on the bottom part.

"My name is Sim Deok-Chool. I have Alzheimer's." That phrase struck Chae Rok, and he could not believe what he just read.

There, scenes flashback when Deok-Chool first found out that he had the illness. The doctor advised him to write everything down so he won't forget the significant details of his life.
