GOT7’s Jinyoung Courted to Play Kim Go Eun’s Boyfriend in Upcoming Webtoon-Based ‘Yumi’s Cells’

Park Jinyoung to Possibly Star Again in a New tvN Drama this 2021
On April 20, according to an official representative in the media industry, idol-actor Park Jinyoung is in talks to be part of the upcoming webtoon-based series "Yumi's Cells." He was offered the role of Yoo Ba Bi, another love interest of Kim Go Eun's character, Yumi.
Park Jinyoung's new agency, BH Entertainment, has no official announcement yet regarding the news.
Recently, SHINee's Minho was also reportedly to make a special appearance in the drama. He received an offer to play the role of Woo Gi, and SM Entertainment released a statement that the SHINee member is positively considering the project.

"Itaewon Class" actor Ahn Bo Hyun also received an offer to play as Kim Go Eun's opposite in "Yumi's Cells." But the media haven't heard any confirmation yet from his agency whether he already accepted the role.

The 26-year-old GOT7 member welcomed the year (2021) with lots of projects, and one of his confirmed forthcoming dramas is the legal series "Devil Judge." Since he parted ways with his previous company JYP, Jinyoung has become busy due to his acting commitments.
Aside from producing music with his GOT7 members, Jinyoung also continues to prove his versatility in the field of acting. His project "Devil Judge" is still in production, but he was already receiving more drama offers for this year.
After his drama "When My Love Blooms" in 2020, Jinyoung will be returning on the small screen with "Devil Judge." And he is expected to play the role of Kim Ga On, a rookie but very determined judge.
