South Korean actress Chun Jung Ha(Cheon Jeong Ha) has passed away suddenly, shocking her fans. She was 52.

The actress, notable for her guest and support roles in various Korean dramas is also a renowned theater actress. Her solid portfolio through the years, both in television series and in theater, enabled her to amass a great horde of fans.

If she looks familiar to you, this might be because some of the shows she was part of made it to Netflix. Below are 5 K-drama roles that the beloved actress has played.

#1. Mon of Na Chi Kook in 'Mouse'

As said, the actress is a prominent support character in many k-dramas that made a mark. These shows include "Mouse," which is still ongoing.

She played the mom of Na Chi Kook's (Lee Seo Joon) in "Mouse." In this thriller, Chi Kook is a high school friend of Lee Seung Gi's protagonist/antagonist character, Jung Ba Reum. Lee Seung Gi is a correctional officer.

Her role is not a recurring one though, occasionally popping up. Ha appears in two Mouse episodes as Chi Kook's mother so far. Coincidentally, her character has fallen into a coma after being targeted by a serial killer.

Her last appearance on the show can be traced back to the mid-season finale for Mouse, which is presently on a brief hiatus.

#2. Yangsun Care Center Manager in 'The King: Eternal Monarch'

The actress has been quite busy over the years. In fact, she can also be seen in many Korean dramas that have an international following because they are streamed on Netflix.

A prime example would be "The King: Eternal Monarch."

Similarly in "Mouse," Ha had also graced two episodes in this series. She plays the Yangsun Care Center manager.

#3. Masseuse Maria in "Beyond Evil"

In "Beyond Evil," she plays Maria, a masseuse. She appeared on episode 8 of the show.

#4. KCSI Investigator in 'Flower of Evil'

For "Flower of Evil," a fast-paced thriller still streaming on Netflix, the lead star of which is Lee Joon Gi, Ha was seen in Episode 13. She played an investigator. It is apparent that the actress' range of acting is quite wide, which made her so suitable for so many roles.

#5. Landlady in 'Stranger' Season 2, Episode 14

Ha plays a landlady in Episode 14 of this series. "Stranger" is hailed as one of the best Korean crime K-dramas to date.

If you are one of the lucky ones to have seen her earlier work, you would know that she has quite a few in the world of theater.

The actress delved into acting as early as 1990 after graduating from Hongik University with a degree in History Education. At the time, her forte was only in theater and stage. During her stint as a theater and stage actor, she was part of a range of stage plays that was widely talked about, such as "Youth Yechan," "Wolf Grows Eyeballs First," and "Happy Young Day."

Fans of Chun Jung Ha Grieve Her Passing

According to Yonhap News, she was found dead at her home. While no clear reason was given, there was a presumption that she died from kidney failure triggered by hypotension. The actress reportedly has low blood pressure as well.

Her funeral will be held on April 30 at 7:00 a.m. Korea Standard Time. The burial site is reportedly going to be at Ilsan.

As of this time, none from her family has made an official statement just yet. As they are respectively given the time to grieve, some co-stars and theater colleagues have already started to send out their condolences, mainly through social media.

Upon hearing the news, some fans were also quick to express their sadness.
