'The World of the Married' Cast: Where are Kim Hee Ae, Park Hae Joon, and Han So Hee Now?

"The World of the Married" certainly made waves, not just in Korea, but around the world. That is even before it was streamed on Netflix, so it was really that remarkable.

Park Hae Joon starred in it as the cheating husband, and his co-stars were Kim Hee Ae and Han So Hee. This drama made him a household name, and the storyline had women checking up on their husbands, which is a testament to how well he acted on his role.

The question now is, where are these main stars now? What are their current projects?

Park Hae Joon Starring in 'I Just Haven't Done My Best Yet'

After months of negotiating about it, Park Hae Joon is confirmed to be starring at the upcoming JTBC drama "I Just Haven't Done My Best Yet." This can be considered a comeback project for him, and it is a big one.

On May 10, reports confirmed that the actor would be joining the show, directed by Im Tae Woo, known for his works "Sketch" and "Yoo Na's Street." The show is also written by the expert storyteller Park Hee Kwon. Under this writer's name are notable projects such as "The Third Charm," among others.

Given the plot of this upcoming drama, Park Hae Joon is certainly a good fit. The story will revolve around that of a middle-aged man, or in his 40s, named Nam Guem Pil, who suddenly found himself unemployed after quitting his job. The whole series will be of him trying to make something of his life and trying to survive being jobless.

The actor, notable for his heavy drama performance in "The World of the Married," will certainly be showcasing another side of his acting talent, this time in comedy.

One good trivia about this is that he once said he almost did not take the "The World of Married" role. According to him, he had thought of declining the offer for fear of doing the role injustice because he was not sure if he can deliver the intensity needed from him.

Kim Hee Ae in a New Film

In February 2021, it was announced that Kim Hee Ae, who played the wife cheated on in "The World of the Married," who got legion of wives and women around the world rooting for her, is starring in a new film, entitled "The Moon."

In this movie, she will transform into Moon Young Eun, NASA's space station general director. Like her role in "The World of the Married," she has unbelievable strength here. In this movie, she's the one who has the power to save a man left in space. The rest of the star-studded cast will include Omon and Exo's D.O!

There is no clear release date yet, but filming was reported to be starting already.

Han So Hee Joins "I Know, But" Cast

in a recent report, it was announced that Han So Hee, who played the second woman in "The World of the Married," will join the "I Know, But" cast, a show that features a romance between two people in college.

It's going to be a rom-com, so it will afford fans a fresh look at Han Soo Hee's acting prowess. She was quite heavily dramatic on "The World of the Married." it will be nice to see her in a light-hearted series this time.

The webtoon is created by Jung Seo and is described as one of highly anticipated shows of 2021, although there is no definite release date yet.
