‘Taxi Driver’ Episode 11 Reigns Friday Night Drama with High Viewership + Tension Arises between Lee Je Hoon and Esom
Korean drama "Taxi Driver" starring Lee Je Hoon and Esom sustains its position as the highest rating Friday evening drama.
In a new report, the SBS mystery crime series cemented its reign with soaring viewership ratings.
"Taxi Driver" Viewership Rating Soars to Over 17%
According to Nielsen Korea, "Taxi Driver" viewership garnered 16.3 percent in the metropolitan area while 14.6 percent nationwide, scoring a total of 17.3 percent.
Moreover, the recent data also showed that the drama continued the box office run with a recorded 6.6 percent viewership rate.
This made the Korean drama "Taxi Driver" the number one Friday evening drama.

"Taxi Driver" Episode 11: Kang Ha Na Investigates Jang Sung Chul's Home
In the latest episode of the SBS drama, Prosecutor Kang Ha Na, played by Esom, is eager to get evidence showing that the Rainbow Taxi group was behind the series of missing suspects.
"Taxi Driver" episode 11 featured the feisty prosecutor barged into BlueBird Foundation and Rainbow Taxi boss Jang Sung Chul (Kim Eui Sung), hoping to find evidence.
Unfortunately, the prosecutor team failed to seize a single proof that would pinpoint the case to the Rainbow Taxi group, especially to Kim Do Ki, portrayed by Lee Je Hoon.
Kim Do Ki's Intense Conversation with Kang Ha Na
The latest episode also showcases the rising tension between the deluxe taxi driver and Prosecutor Kang Ha Na.
After raiding CEO Jang's place, Kim Do Ki was caught up in an intense conversation with the prosecutor.
With the increasing frustration towards the case, she questioned him and pointed out that punishing the suspects out of revenge is the same as being the criminals.
"Isn't it justice that you guys do? Even so, you guys are the same criminals," she mentioned, to which he replied by highlighting that Do Ki's revenge is deeply rooted in his anger towards the criminals.
At the Seoul Northern District Prosecutors' Office, Kang Ha Na was assigned to a cold case of Go Dong-hee (Han Gyu Won), who went missing and was believed to be killed by his fiance's friend Goo Suk Tae's (Lee Ho Chul) twin brother.
To recall, Goo Suk Tae is the secretary for Paradise Credit Information headed by Chairman Baek Sung Mi (Cha Ji Yeon.)
According to the victim's family, this was out of jealousy since the suspect had feelings for Go Dong-hee's fiance.
Unfortunately, Goo Young Tae was found not guilty due to lack of evidence, and there was nobody or corpse found; hence, he was released and is now a freeman.
On the other hand, the Rainbow Taxi team goes after the same case and offers revenge to the victim's father, Pastor Go (Yunhee Lee); unfortunately, he doesn't want to take revenge since he believes that his son is still alive.
Nevertheless, the team wanted to proceed with the case and wanted to avenge the victim.
A Devastating News for Kang Ha Na
The prosecutor is keen on solving the cold case assigned to her and asks one of Goo Young Tae's men, Sim Woo Sub, to serve as their bait.
Kang Ha Na received a call from Mr. Sim saying that he has a lead on Goo Young Tae but was caught by the twins that he has been spying on them.
The prosecutor then asked Investigator Wang Min Ho (Lee Yoo Joon) to proceed to the witness' location who is currently in danger.
At the scene, the prosecutor arrived and was welcomed with a devastating surprise.
She found Investigator Wang lifeless inside a body bag after being murdered by Goo Young Tae.
