A Naver source gave some background on the play, saying that it "depicts two characters who, having lost their memories in an unfamiliar space, confront the boundaries between life and death through a book containing entangled memories." Despite this success, Kim Seon Ho has been accused of tax evasion in connection with setting up a one-person business. Reports said that the company was registered at his home in Yongsan, Seoul, and that family members were listed as executives who got paid. It was also said that corporate cards were used for personal expenses.
In response to the controversy, Kim Seon Ho's representatives said in a statement,"Although there were past settlements with a former agency, the corporation is no longer operating, and the administrative closure process is in its final stages."
