When the news surfaced that co-stars Kim Bum and Moon Geun Young were dating, it seemed that yet again another real-life couple had met on set. Would all the good actors and actresses just date and marry each other?

While it is more likely that actors will meet each other at work, there are many actors that do wind up marrying ordinary people. Here are a few cases where actors chose non-celebrities.

Actress Han Chae Young, who will appear in the upcoming drama "Pretty Man" with Jang Geun Suk, married Korean-American financial expert Choi Dong Joon in 2007. She recently gave birth to her first child.

This year actor Bae Soo Bin married a graduate student who is eight years younger than him. The two were introduced to each other through friends, and only began dating officially this year. They decided to marry six months later.

Actress Park Si Yeon, who starred in "Nice Guy," married Park Sang Hun, an office worker at a small company. They married in 2011 and had a baby daughter this year.

Shin Hyun Joon of "Bridal Mask" and "Ohlala Spouses" married a Korean-American music student who was 12 years younger than him. They dated for a year before deciding to marry.

Actor Go Soo married Kim Hye Yeon, an art student, who is 11 years younger than he is. Go Soo recently appeared in as Jang Tae Joo in "Empire of Gold." The couple was introduced by friends and dated for four years before marrying. They now have a son.

Han Ji Hye, who appeared in "May Queen," met her husband through her sister. She dated her prosecutor boyfriend secretly for a year. The couple married in a private ceremony in Hawaii.

When a celebrity marries a non-celebrity they do what they can to protect the privacy of their spouse.

For example, when actor Kim Jae Won of "May Queen" and "Scandal" recently married he was careful to keep his new wife out of the spotlight. She did not show up at the pre-wedding press conference and no wedding pictures of her were released to the public. Fans knew that she was a childhood friend and that the two met again recently. She works in the management of a leading modeling agency. The couple is expecting their first child.

And it's a trend that continues. Recently actor Jung Gyu Woon of "Wonderful Mama" announced that he plans to marry his model-turned-web-designer girlfriend.
