"How About a Cup of Coffee?" Cast and Synopsis

Kakao TV's upcoming drama will be directed by Noh Jung Wook alongside scriptwriter Kim Joon Hyung.

Interestingly, the drama will begin its filming schedule in June and is slated to premiere in the second half of the year with a total of 12 episodes.

The "Moment at Eighteen" actor will portray Kang Go Bi, a newbie barista who pursued the career due to his passion for coffee.

Little did he know that aside from mastering the craft, he will also learn about people and how to comfort their hearts through coffee.

With Kang Go Bi's journey, he is being supervised by Park Seok, played by Park Ho San, the owner and the coffee master of the shop.

"How About a Cup of Coffee?" will be a different genre to Ong Seong Wu's previous projects as this would present his growth in acting by portraying mature and deeper emotions.

After his successful debut as one of the members of the project group Wanna One, Ong Seong Wu delved into acting and managed to land his first-ever project in "Idol Fever" as a guest.

He then scored his first lead role in the romance drama "Moment at Eighteen."

This was followed by the JTBC drama "More Than Friends" together with a powerhouse cast including Shin Ye Eun, Kim Dong Jun, P.O, Baek Soo Min, and Choi Chan Ho.
