Singing Sensation IU to Live in Gangnam City After Purchasing New Penthouse Unit
Numerous media outlets released a report about the newly purchased property of singer-songwriter IU. In February (2021), she recently bought a unit at Eterno Chungdam in Seoul. The new complex is said to be brand new since the construction will be finished in December 2022. The penthouse is projected to be the highest valued apartment unit in the local area.

The said unit was sold to "My Mister" actress and is worth 13 billion won (almost 11 million USD), Lee Ji Eun also filed an application for residency at the Gangnam City Office. The 28-year-old artist is expected to move and live at her newly purchased home.
According to the report, "Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo" star chose a 243 square meter unit located above the 10th floor. Way back in 2019, IU has sold her villa in Bangbaedong, where she used to live for 7 years. IU was included in the list of Korean stars who recently acquired new properties in the year 2021.
BTS members RM and Jimin also had made recent purchases of apartment units. "Now, We Are Breaking Up" actress Song Hye Kyo and "Mouse" actor Lee Seung Gi also made investments and previously acquired new luxury units.

After the news went viral, several fans were able to track what IU's new unit looked like. The expensive penthouse is said to be worth the price since the interior designs are very detailed and extremely beautiful.

Last May 16, IU celebrated her birthday by giving donations to various charities and other people who are in need. IU is also active in doing different projects for her fans, her voice is as pure as her heart is.

Updates About IU's Forthcoming Projects
Apart from singing, IU is busy with lots of activities these days. She is currently working on two exciting movies, one is "Dream" where she will be teaming up with "Itaewon Class" actor Park Seo Joon.
They already began filming in 2020, but due to the pandemic, their scheduled shoot outside South Korea has been postponed, and there are no further details yet when the production resumes.
Meanwhile, she is currently filming her other movie "Broker" alongside "Kingdom" actress Bae Doona, "Parasite" actor Song Kang Ho, and "Peninsula" star Gang Dong Won. Award-winning director Hirokazu Koreeda is in charge of the movie.
