‘Nevertheless’ Drops Behind-the-Scene Still Cuts Featuring Han So Hee and Song Kang’s Onscreen Romance

JTBC keeps fans updated with the upcoming K-drama "Nevertheless" starring Han So Hee and Song Kang.

The broadcast network released the behind-the-scenes photo showing the undeniable onscreen chemistry between the duo.

While on set, the lead stars exude stunning visuals and charm as they gave viewers a different level of excitement.

In one photo, it appears that the "Navillera" actor and the 26-year-old beauty were focused on getting instruction from the production team, donning an enthusiastic look in their eyes.

In the last snap, the "Sweet Home" star gazed at Han So Hee, who was looking away from the actor.

"Nevertheless" Release and Cast

The behind-the-scenes stills were released ahead of the drama's much-awaited premiere. Slated to debut on June 19 every Saturday with a total of 10 episodes, the romance drama is helmed by "Devilish Joy" and "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency" director Kim Ga Ram together with screenwriter Jung Won, whose famous works include the 2019 youth drama "Dating Class."

"Nevertheless" is based on the popular webtoon of the same name that follows the story of two individuals who share different outlooks on life and love.

Yoo Na Bi, portrayed by the "World of Married" actress, is an art student who had trust issues after a bitter experience with her first love.

With her first heartache, she doesn't believe in love and destiny anymore.

Interestingly, things had changed when she met her classmate, Park Jae Uhn, played by Song Kang.

Despite his handsome and charming looks, he doesn't want to commit to a relationship but enjoys flirting.

He was also described as a master of push and pull since he doesn't easily get caught up by his emotions.

Aside from the duo, viewers can also expect the appearance of Chae Jong Hyeop, who is set to play Yang Do Hyuk and will be joined by Yang Hye Ji, Han Eu Ddeum, Kim Min Gwi, and more.

"Nevertheless" First Teaser Video

Apart from the intriguing behind-the-scenes, "Nevertheless" also released their official teaser video, illustrating the heart-fluttering romance between the lead stars.

In the video, Yoo Na Bi tried to stop herself from getting attached to the playboy Park Jae Uhn.

"Does he really like me?" he asked herself, adding, "No! I won't see him."

The next scene also hints at the duo's secret as Yoo Na Bi told herself, "What if we hadn't been like that on that night?"

Han So Hee's character hesitates to entertain her feelings towards Park Jae Uhn, but she then concludes, "Even though I know I can't like you, nevertheless..."

Prior to their roles in "Nevertheless," Song Kang gained recognition through their breakthrough performance in "Lover Alarm," followed by his impeccable acting skills in post dystopian drama "Sweet Home."

Moreover, the 27-year-old actor recently appeared in "Navillera" alongside veteran actor Park In Hwan, where they played the role of ballerinos.

As for Han So Hee, she was recognized in the 2020 JTBC drama "The World of Married," playing the role of the young mistress Yeo Da Kyung.
