Following the passing of his father, Kim Myung Soo wants to relay the heartbreaking message to his mother and grandma.

He bravely followed the map as he attempted to reach their hometown.

Unfortunately, the couple is worried that Myung Soo might get caught by the military, so they follow him into the woods.

Little did they know that this will be the last time that they will see each other.

As for Myung Hee, she saw her little brother hiding in the woods. She instructed him to run as fast as he can and never look back whatever happens.

Just like what his father did, Myung Hee sacrificed herself after seeing that a soldier was aiming his rifle at Myung Soo.

Myung Soo then heard a loud gunshot but was advised by Kim Kyung Soo, who happens to be Hee Tae's best friend, to continue running.
