In "My Roommate is a Gumiho" Episode 5, Hyeri unexpectedly found out that Bae In Hyuk and his friends put her on a bet. Meanwhile, she also starts to develop feelings for Jang Ki Yong.

"My Roommate is a Gumiho" Episode 5 began when Shin Woo Yeo (Jang Ki Yong) met Lee Dam (Hyeri) inside the cafe. He was discussing something with her, and she couldn't help but be smitten.
The following days, Lee Dam found it awkward everytime she was with Shin Woo Yeo. She knew her feelings for the male gumiho have started to bloom.
Do Jae Jin Ignores His Best Friend Lee Dam
After observing Lee Dam's actions, her friends Do Jae Jin (Kim Do Wan) and Choi Soo Kyeong (Park Kyung Hee) have different persons in mind of whom Lee Dam has feelings.
For Do Jae Jin, it's with the campus heartthrob Gye Sun Woo (Bae In Hyuk), but for Choi Soo Kyeong, it's with Shin Woo Yeo, the guy she saw the other day with Lee Dam.
Lee Dam, however, refused to talk about it, making Do Jae Jin disappointed.
For him, they are best friends and shouldn't hide any secrets from each other, especially if there is something bothering them. So, he began to distance himself from Lee Dam.
Do Jae Jin then overheard Gye Sun Woo's friends talking about the bet they had for Lee Dam. He rushed to look for Gye Sun Woo, and when he was about to punch him, his classmates were quick to stop him.
Unexpectedly, Lee Dam saw the chaos. Gye Sun Woo went to her and bravely admitted what he had done.
Initially, Gye Sun Woo lost the bet and was the first to stop the scheme since he was already determined to become a better man for Lee Dam. But it didn't turn out to be what he wanted.

Lee Dam Accidentally Admits Feelings for Shin Woo Yeo
Shin Woo Yeo saw Lee Dam was troubled, so he asked her to go for a drink. He was fascinated by Lee Dam the moment she started drinking alcohol because she displays her genuine emotions when she's intoxicated
Lee Dam was drunk and was saying lots of things. Shin Woo Yeo spontaneously complimented Lee Dam for being honest, and he told her he likes her for being true. This fluttered Lee Dam and triggered her to admit her feelings for the male gumiho.
Meanwhile, Lee Dam is not the only one who has blossoming feelings for the other as Shin Woo Yeo started to do unusual things for the lady - this also confuses him whether he's already falling in love with her or not.
