Lee Ho Chul, who plays the villain in K-drama "Taxi Driver," revealed his experience on the set of the top rating drama.

The "Lies Within" actor recently appeared in the MBC entertainment program "Radio Star," where he showed off a different kind of vibe.

Unlike his drama roles, Lee Ho Chul wowed the audience with his unexpected charm and funny aura as he spilled details about the smash hit "Taxi Driver" and his devastating experience as a kid.

Lee Ho Chul Became a Victim of Bullying

Contrary to the characters he portrays, Lee Ho Chul revealed that he used to be a victim of harassment and bullying.

"I was bullied when I was in middle school," he confessed.

At the time, he was already big for his age and stood 186cm tall in middle school.

During the interview, he mentioned that children used to throw stones at him; however, he learned to defend himself, thanks to Jackie Chan's martial arts movies.

"I practiced kicking and hitting bricks while watching martial arts movies alone."

Lee Ho Chul Same Age as Song Joong Ki?

Another shocking revelation surprised the audience as Lee Ho Chul went to share his age.

The 35-year-old actor mentioned that she is the same age as the Vincenzo star Song Joong Ki.

"I'm the same age (35) as Song Joong Ki, actress Go Jun Hee, and comedian Yang Se Young," he shared.

Moreover, he also explained that he has a naturally matured face, adding, "I had this face ever since I was young. When I was 24, I had the same face, but that's when my hair started to fall out. To be honest, I didn't even care that my hair was falling out."

Lee Ho Chul Reveals Why Cast Members Calls Him "Totoro"

Despite his intimidating appearance, Lee Ho Chul appears to be a gentle giant on the set of "Taxi Driver."

During his candid talk with the host, he gets honest and reveals that the cast members call him "Totoro."

To recall, Totoro is a Japanese animated fantasy film that illustrates the titular cartoon character. He is an adorable and furry chinchilla in Hayao Miyazaki's animated movie "My Neighbor Totoro."

In the mega-hit Kdrama "Taxi Driver," Lee Ho Chul plays the twin brothers.

Goo Seok Tae and Goo Yeong Tae are both the right hand of the evil Baek Sung Mi (Cha Ji Yeon.)

The 35-year-old actor also did several intense fight scenes with Lee Je Hoon, who plays the former military officer turned taxi driver Kim Do Gi.

Aside from the SBS drama, he also appeared in "Dr. Romantic 2" as the loan shark boss and in "365: Repeat the Year" and "The King: Eternal Monarch," both as gang leaders.
