Upcoming K-Drama ‘Hometown ChaChaCha’ Holds First Script Reading Session Featuring Lead Stars Shin Min Ah, Lee Sang Yi, Kim Seon Ho
tvN is gearing up with the upcoming K-drama "Hometown ChaChaCha" with the behind-the-scenes featuring Shin Min Ah, Lee Sang Yi, and Kim Seon Ho.
The broadcasting network recently unveiled the first script reading session showing the chemistry between the lead stars.
Apart from the trio, the event was also attended by director Yoo Je Won and screenwriter Shin Ha Eun as well cast members Kim Young Ok, Jo Han Chul, In Gyo Jin, Lee Bong Ryun, Gong Min Jung, Cha Chung Hwa, Lee Yong Yi, Shin Shin Ae, and Kang Hyung.

PD Yoo Je Won began the table read by thanking the team, adding that he feels "honored and confident to be with the actors and staff gathered together,"

In addition, the "Hometown ChaChaCha" director says that he is looking forward to having a fun filming session and promised to uphold quarantine protocols for the safety of the team.
"I will do my best to follow the quarantine rules and make sure that everyone finishes filming in good health."
As the script reading commenced, the lead stars showed off their unique chemistry as they immersed themselves in their respective roles.
Shin Min Ah plays dentist Yoon Hye Jin, a woman who has a deadly combination of beauty and brains.
Amid her picture-perfect life, she faced obstacles and struggles in her life that prompted her to move to the seashore village Gongjin where she meets Hong Doo Shik, portrayed by Kim Seon Ho.
At the table read, the Hallyu actress was spotted delivering a delicate emotional acting through her lines.
Beside her is the "Start-Up" star whose character is described as someone who is an expert at finding odd jobs to help his ends meet.
Despite his status, he likes to help around the neighborhood; hence he became one of the famous residents in their town.
On the other hand, Lee Sang Yi plays Ji Sung Hyun; a top variety shows PD who is considered the Midus in the entertainment industry.
In a previous interview, the production team lauded the lineup of powerhouse cast, adding that the upcoming K-drama "Hometown ChaChaCha" is set to be a perfect rom-com that would make the viewer's hearts flutter.
"Not only will Kim Seon Ho and Shin Min Ah show surprisingly high synchronization with their characters, but the bubbly yet warm story will also bring comfort. Please, anticipate their rom-com chemistry that's bound to make hearts flutter," the official explained.
The new tvN drama is slated to be released on August 28 and will air every Saturday and Sunday.
"Hometown ChaChaCha" Cast Upcoming Dramas
This will be the first time that the trio will appear in one drama.
At the same time, "Hometown ChaChaCha" is Shin Min Ah's comeback on the small screen, following the success of the 2019 JTBC sequel "Chief of Staff 2."
Meanwhile, Lee Sang Yi just recently wrapped up his latest drama, "Youth of May," alongside Go Min Si, Lee Do Hyun, and Geum Sae Rok.
As for the South Korean heartthrob, apart from his upcoming tvN drama, fans would get to see more of Kim Seon Ho this 2021 with his new drama "Link: Eat, Love, Die" with rumored co-star Moon Ga Young.
