Director Kim Hee Won and writer Jeon Seo Kyung are reportedly joining forces for a new project.
On June 30, Korean news outlet Dong A stated that Kim Hee Won and Jeon Seo Kyung are teaming up to produce a TV series, titled "Little Ladies."
Jeong Seo Kyung is the writer behind the movies "The Decision to Break Up," "The Handmaiden," and more. She also wrote the drama script for "Mother" in 2018.
"Little Ladies" is Kim Hee Won's next drama, following the success of "Vincenzo." Due to favorable feedback from the viewers, local and overseas K-drama fans are already anticipating Kim Hee Won's next masterpiece.

"Little Ladies" will depict the story of three sisters who are poor and living their lives struggling to survive. But even though they don't have enough money for their needs, these three ladies have good friendships with the powerful family in Korea.
Writer Jeong Seo Kyung shared that based on the structure narrative, he concentrates on the character psychology.
On the other hand, director Kim Hee Won is expected to use dramatic directing methods.
This forthcoming drama is predicted to have a new sensuous genre.
Studio Dragon Confirmed to Produce "Little Ladies"
Studio Dragon, the production company behind "Vincenzo," will also be producing the forthcoming drama "Little Ladies." It has been said that the planning for the production has already been completed.

Meanwhile, when talking about the casting, the company revealed that they will start casting actors in the second half of 2021. Once the lineup is complete, they will immediately proceed to filming.
According to the report, the "Little Ladies" team is aiming for next year's lineup, but the specific time for production and airing schedule are yet to be confirmed.
But one thing is for sure, "Little Ladies" is expected to have a splendid cast, knowing that director Kim Hee Won and writer Jeong Seo Kyung are known for being meticulous in choosing their actors.
