Pyo Ye Jin recalled her experience working as a flight attendant before entering showbiz and starring in the smash hit K-drama "Taxi Driver."

The 29-year-old South Korean actress recently appeared in MBC's entertainment program "I Live Alone," where she spoke about why she ended her career in the aviation industry and shifted to acting. 

During the show, the "V.I.P" star was asked why she quit being a flight attendant. The actress gets honest and explains that at the time, she thought that the job was not the future she wanted and could not imagine herself working in the airlines for ten years. 

Pyo Ye Jin began her career as a flight attendant in 2011 for South Korea's largest airline, Korean Air. 

Moreover, the actress, who was 19 years old at the time, stayed with the company for one year and six months.

As for the reason why she pursued her acting career, the "What's Wrong with Secretary Kim" actress explains, "I thought about what I could be good at, so I wanted to become an actress."

With her decision to chase her lifelong dream, she had to start from scratch, adding, "At first, I had to rotate my profile myself. At that time, that was the only thing I could do. I don't remember all of those times being that hard. It was also fun."

After leaving the company, Pyo Ye Jin made her acting debut in the 2014 musical film "Miss Granny."

This was followed by several minor roles, such as in "Dream Knight," "72 Seconds: Season 2," "Marriage Contract," and more. 

Interestingly, she landed her first-ever lead role in the 2017 melodrama "Love Returns" alongside Lee Sung Yeol, Lee Dong Ha, and Han Hye Rin; however, it was "Taxi Driver" where she received a lot of attention that grew her popularity in the world of K-drama.

Pyo Ye Jin Thankful for "Taxi Driver" 

As the crime thriller drama wrapped up its first season, Pyo Ye Jin shared her thoughts about "Taxi Driver."

In the video released by Pyo Ye Jin's agency Fan Stars Company, the 29-year-old actress revealed that the SBS drama is one of the projects that are close to her heart. She revealed that she got so "deeply immersed in a character" of Ahn Go Eun. 

Moreover, she recalled her experience after she was officially cast for the role. 

"When I first received the script, I was glad that Go Eun was a cool and amazing character. However, I was also worried if she could express the pain of losing her sister." 

In addition, she revealed that "Taxi Driver" director Park Joon Woo, who also helmed "Doctor Detective," helped her transform into her character. 

In the drama, Pyo Ye Jin plays Rainbow Taxi's resident hacker Ahn Go Eun alongside Kim Do Ki, played by Lee Je Hoon. 

The 29-year-old beauty got the part after April's Naeun was cut from the drama due to her bullying allegations.
