Netflix Korea introduces the "Kingdom: Ashin of the North" cast with intriguing character posters, starring Jun Ji Hyun, Park Byung Eun, Kim Roe Ha and Koo Kyo Hwan.

In the latest update, the streaming giant entices fans with breathtaking visuals that hint at the cast members' role and their involvement in the plague that struck the whole Joseon.

The first teaser features Jun Ji Hyun, who plays the titular role of Ashin. Her expression says about deep resentment that prompted her to seek revenge while traversing the mountainous north.

Prior to the chaos that engulfed the whole Kingdom, Ashin lost her family and people due to the mystery surrounding the flesh-eating creatures.

The previous teaser illustrates that Ashin might find the origin of the purple flower, also known as the resurrection plant.

Lastly, the streaming giant welcomes "Peninsula" actor Koo Kyo Hwan, who will act as Ai Da Gan. His character plays the brutal tribal leader who rose from the north to the Joseon dynasty.

In the "Kingdom" special edition, Ai Da Gan is predicted to raise the tension by gathering forces at the border and threatening the people on the outskirts of Joseon.
