Awesome Entertainment Clears Issues about ‘Nevertheless’ Actress Yang Hye Ji Dating Pro-Gamer Deft
Yang Hye Ji's agency set the record straight amid the rumors involving the "Nevertheless" actress and pro-gamer Deft.
It came after online communities have been pointing out that the 25-year-old actress is dating the professional League of Legends player.
In addition, internet users were able to highlight that the duo shared similar snaps on their Instagram, prompting that Yang Hye Ji and Deft are involved in a thing called "Love Stagram."

Following the rumors, Yang Hye Ji's agency, Awesome ENT, quashes rumors that the actress is dating the 24-year-old gamer.
In a statement, the management cleared the rumors circulating online and explained that both of them went to the same school.
"Yang Hye Ji and Deft went to middle school together. They are close friends and play games together sometimes, and he is a gamer that [Yang Hye Ji] supports. They are not dating," Awesome ENT mentioned.
Deft, whose real name is Kim Hyeok Kyu, is an AD Carry under Hanwha Life Esports.
Interestingly, the pro gamer also appeared as one of the torch relay runners during the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
As for Yang Hye Ji, she is currently making waves due to her role in the JTBC drama "Nevertheless" alongside Song Kang and Han So Hee.
In the K-drama, she plays Yoo Na Bi's (Han So Hee) best friend, Oh Bit Na who has a complicated relationship with fellow art student Nam Kyu Hyun, Kim played by Min Gwi.
Moreover, her role in "Nevertheless" adds charm to the characters as it stimulates the viewers' curiosity with her budding romance with her friend turned lover.
Yang Hye Ji Thrilled to be Part of the Nevertheless Cast
In a previous interview, the 25-year-old actress shares her thoughts after being cast in the romance K-drama "Nevertheless."
At the time, she mentioned that she became close with the cast members, given that most of them are around her age.
In addition, she also shared their working relationship off cam, saying, "Every morning when we have a group scene, I get excited thinking about what we'll talk about today while having fun."
Like "The World of Married" star, Yang Hye Ji also confessed that she's a fan of the webtoon and says that it was an honor to be cast in the drama adaptation.

Yang Hye Ji before K-Drama Nevertheless
Prior to her breakthrough role in "Nevertheless," the South Korean actress made her debut in 2017 for the drama special "Drama Stage: History of Walking Upright."
She then landed several supporting roles, including the 2018 drama "Rich Family's Son" and "When the Weather Is Fine" with Park Min Young and Seo Kang Joon, as well as the action-comedy movie "Insa."
Interestingly, her first-ever major role is in MBC's Failing in Love" opposite Son Sang Yeon and Shin Yoon Seop.
