MBC's new romantic-comedy drama "Check The Event," starring Girl's Day's Minah, "Mouse" actor Kwon Hwa Woon, and "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actor Ahn Woo Yeon, released its second teaser.
Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon Go on a Bittersweet Trip in New 'Check The Event' Teaser
The upcoming romantic-comedy drama "Check The Event" is about two ex-lovers who win a couples trip in a lottery that they joined when they were still together. They decided to go on the trip while pretending to still be together with several other winners.
Girl's Day's Minah will be playing the role of Ha Song Yi, a botanical garden coordinator who tries to move on from her breakup with her longtime boyfriend. She now prefers plants more than people because plants can never hurt you.
Minah stars opposite Kwon Hwa Woon, who will be taking the role of Park Do Kyum, Ha Song Yi's ex-boyfriend, vocalist and leader of an indie band.
The new "Check The Event" teaser shows the rollercoaster ride of Ha Song Yi and Park Do Kyum's relationship.

Like most couples, they are living together harmoniously, always smiling dearly and clinging to each other. However, things change throughout the span of their relationship, making Ha Song Yi to think that her love was not reciprocated at all and she is the only one who really felt something for the other.
The couples' unexpected separation breaks Ha Song Yi's heart painfully. And then one moment, both of them got the chance to go on a trip to the beautiful island of Jeju.
While Ha Song Yi is delighted, Park Do Kyum thinks it's a ridiculous idea for them to go on a trip together when they are not together anymore.
At the end of the clip, Ha Song Yi sadly stalls at the hotel and embarrassingly admits that her 'boyfriend' might not go with her, but Park Do Kyum arrives in the nick of time.
The teaser ignited great anticipation and excitement from fans, curious on whether the two remained friends over the course of the trip or if they got back together.
'Check The Event' Unveils New Drama Posters
In the first poster teaser, Minah and Kwon Hwa Woon are seated next to each in front of the breathtaking view of the buckwheat fields of Jeju Island. The two shared gazes as if they were to sort out their unresolved business.
The overwhelmingly beautiful blue skies and breathtaking buckwheat flowers of Jeju Island adds color to the bittersweet atmosphere between the two ex-lovers.

On the other hand, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" actor Ahn Woo Yeon joins the two as the Jeju Island couples' tour guide Seo Ji Kang, who eventually starts developing feelings for Ha Song Yi.
In the newly released poster, the three actors smiled brightly as they sat beside each other.
Ha Song Yi sat between her ex-lover Park Do Kyum and her newfound friend Seo Ji Kang, gaining attention as to how their unexpected love triangle will end up.
The stunning blue ocean sets a refreshing yet sullen mood as fans think about how their stories end.
'Check The Event' Production and Release Date
Ahn Woo Yeon, Lee Jin Hyuk from UP10TION, Nam Kyu Hee, and veteran stars Kim Young Sun and Kim Hee Chang will also participate in the drama.
"Check the Event" premieres on August 14.
