Jang Ki Yong Dating History: Surprising Rumors about ‘My Roommate is a Gumiho’ Star’s Supposed Relationships
Jang Ki Yong welcomed the year with a slew of hit K-dramas and highly anticipated new team up with Hallyu queen, Song Hye Kyo.
This year, fans get to see the 28-year-old heartthrob as he blossom into one of South Korea's promising actors with his impressive acting skills and stunning visuals.
To prove this, the South Korean heartthrob has been making a massive buzz not just in the entertainment industry but also on social media with his role as a 999-year-old nine-tailed fox in the top rating drama "My Roommate is a Gumiho" opposite Lee Hyeri.
There's no denying that the "Born Again" actor is at the peak of his success and this means that he can't escape the prying eyes of the media and public.
Interestingly he was caught up in a string of dating rumors that involved a former athlete and one of his co-star.
That being said, let's deep dive at Jang Ki Yong's dating history and his alleged relationship with two public figures.
Jang Ki Yong and Son Yeon Jae
Back in May, rumor sparked that the "Sweet & Sour" star is dating the former Olympic gymnast Son Yeon Jae. It came after fans speculated that the two are seeing each other due to their similar Instagram posts.
In a now deleted photo, Jang Ki Yong posted a view of the ocean, while the latter also shared an almost exact same scenery but in a different angle.
Amid this, Jang Ki Yong's agency, YG Entertainment, released a statement denying all the rumors.
"Actor Jang Ki Yong says he and Son Yeon Jae do not know each other. The photo in question was taken when he went to Busan to film the drama 'Now, We Are Breaking Up.'"
Meanwhile, Son Yean Jae's agency, HCP, expressed the same stance and denied that the athlete personally knew the actor.
In addition, the management explained that they will take legal action against the malicious comments and groundless rumor regarding the athlete.
Son Yean Jae is a 27-year-old former rhythmic gymnast and a member of the South Korean national gymnastics team. She competed and won the championship at the 2014 Asian Games and at the 2010 Asian Games taking home the bronze medal.
Interestingly she is said to be the first ever South Korean individual rhythmic gymnast to win several awards including FIG World Cup series, Asian Games, World Championships and more.

It even came to a point when Jang Ki Yong's Instagram is filled with several snaps together with the Girl's Day member.
However, we all know that Lee Hyeri has a long-term relationship with Ryu Jun Yeol, whom she met at the set of their K-drama "Reply 1988."
In her previous interview with SPOTV News, the singer-actress revealed that her boyfriend "never skipped an episode and monitored every single one" of her drama.
