Based on various K-media reports and other online community sites, Song Joong Ki delivered a promotional video of himself to the Korea International Accessible Dance Festival or KIADA.
The video went viral when a volunteer worker from the KIADA wrote a lengthy post online where a short one-minute video of Song Joong Ki promoting the dance festival was attached.
According to the post of a volunteer who chose to hide her name, the dance festival is an event where young individuals, specifically, children with congenital disease, express their own emotions with their bodies. The volunteer said, "Last July, I heard in the news that Song Joong Ki is doing his mandatory self-quarantine due to Covid-19. At that time, I asked him to film a promotional video by just using his phone for about thirty seconds, knowing that he would have time while staying at home."

Song Joong Ki Uses His Influence to Give Voice to Others
Afterward, she received a message from the "Space Sweepers" star asking for the details and data of the event for the past six years.
She then revealed the unexpected gesture of actor Song Joong Ki. A month later, the 35-year-old actor sent the video, and even the other volunteers were happy and impressed. The volunteer shared "We couldn't pay his actor's fee so I just asked for a simple greeting. But he gave effort and spent a lot of his time to come up with such a beautiful and creative video so sincerely."
Song Joong Ki's sincerity can be seen throughout the video for he also dressed up and prepared a speech to promote the Korea International Accessible Dance Festival.
On the other hand, after the post reached lots of views and shares online, Song Joong Ki's agency History D&C released a statement saying, "Song Joong Ki first requested the agency for the publicity. He didn't hesitate to participate in the hope that it would be a big help for the event."
