This romance comedy web-drama that is set in high school revolves around the story of two teen girls who try to live their high school lives happily while living with societal and peer pressure, expectations, and friendly rivalries.

This web-drama stars Arin from OH MY GIRL, Do-ah from FANATIC, and rapper VIINI, alongside "Extraordinary You" actor Han Chae Kyung, "Doctor Prisoner" actor Ryeo Un, actress Hwang Bo Reum Byeol, and Kwon Hyun Bin.

'Gaduri Restaurant'

Starring rising actors Lee Joo Bin and Hyuk, this romance comedy web drama follows the story of a beautiful and charismatic woman Ga Du Ri, who is the owner of a "huijib" (Korean sliced raw fish restaurant).

This list wouldn't be complete without Playlist Originals' "Love Playlist". It is one of the most successful and well-known web dramas in South Korea, with a total number of views exceeding 350 million.

"Love Playlist" follows the story of a group of friends who navigate their lives through the inevitable twists and turns of life, school, love, and friendship.

The show started off with rising actors who gained popularity through its success, such as Park Jung Woo, Kim Hyung Suk, Choi Hee Sung, Im Hwi Jin, and Lee Yoo Jin.


Bigger names have also participated in the series with a main role and small cameos. From Kim Sae Ron, who is one of the faces of South Korean television, to NCT Jaehyun.

'A-TEEN'

Together with "Love Playlist", "A-TEEN" is another web drama produced by Playlist Originals. It also made buzz because of its relatable and rich storyline focused on the teenagers who are in high school.

The coming-of-age high school romance drama explored individual challenges faced by the characters, including the outgoing overachievers, quiet average students, as well as siblings who are in the same grade.

The widespread success of the web drama helped the rising actors land major roles in bigger dramas, like Kim Dong Hee who starred in "SKY Castle," "Itaewon Class," and "Extracurricular".
