Finally, the long wait is over as the highly awaited romantic comedy series "Hometown Cha-cha-cha" starring Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho made its small screen debut on August 28.
The quirky first encounter of the two characters made the fans and viewers' hearts flutter as Shin Min Ah and Kim Seon Ho showcased their undeniably great synergy as partners.
Aside from the sneak peek to Shin Min Ah's life, it also highlighted Kim Seon Ho's interesting relationships with his fellow Gongjin residents.
Yoon Hye Jin Quits Her Job and Stands for What She Believes In
The viewers were welcomed by the radiant beauty of Seoul, from its ambiance to the timeless beauty of the night life in the city.
In the first episode, Yoon Hye Jin, played by Shin Min Ah, gave the viewers a glimpse of her day-to-day life as a doctor who is specializing in dentistry.
But like in common workplaces, conflicts and misunderstandings cannot be avoided.
Yoon Hye Jin believes that dental treatments don't need to be expensive, especially when one can opt for a treatment that is much cheaper but effective. This principle clashes with her senior and boss, who thinks ripping off her patients is okay.
With this, the two engaged in a heated and brutal argument in the office which resulted in Yoon Hye Jin's resignation.
Unemployed, and with her senior bad-mouthing her to other dental offices, Yoon Hye Jin couldn't land a new job.

Searching for inner peace of mind, she goes on an adventure to the quaint seaside village of Gongjin-the place where she spent her last happiest memory with her late mother.
Things Don't Go According To What Yoon Hye Jin Planned, Is She Cursed?
With her extravagant lifestyle at stake due to her unemployment, she searches for a refugee from the quiet place of Gongjin. After all, salt water heals everything.
She calmly sits on the beach while thinking about her happiest memory with her mother. As she reminisces, her feet take her to the other side of the beach, leaving her expensive shoes to the shore.
As she snaps back to reality, she panics while looking for her high-end shoes. Luckily, a strange surfer gives her shoe back, but only the other pair.
Disappointed, she goes back to her car to go home in Seoul. But her misfortune continues when her car stops even when she starts the ignition.
With a heavy heart, she goes back to the town to ask for help. While walking, she sees a crying young girl with a bloody tooth in her hand standing beside another young boy.
As a dentist, she figures out what happened in an instant. But it turns out, the tooth was from the young boy whom the young girl accidentally hit.
She tends to the young boy's swollen gums, even going out of her way to buy medicine and gauze pads from the pharmacy.
Her kindness was repaid with home-cooked food by the young boy's mother, who apparently owns a raw fish restaurant.
After eating, she decides to look for a car repair shop but suddenly has the urge to go to the bathroom. The dentist then runs to the nearest cafe to use the restroom, and orders a small iced americano in courtesy.
She was charged 4, 000 South Korean won, but because of a fire in the place, her card, phone, and ATMs didn't work, and she was accused of being a fraud.
Thank goodness, she once again meets the man who gave her shoe back. Hong Doo Sik, played by Kim Seon Ho, was her knight in a plaid shirt.
He gave her a job so she could earn money-pulling out the innards of a squid before it is sun-dried.
Yoon Hye Jin then earns her hard-earned money she owes the cafe owner.

To say Gongjin was a small place was an understatement. It was so small that it doesn't even have its own dental clinic, which raised Yoon Hye Jin's concern.
When her car started working again, she readied herself to come home to Seoul. On her way home, her former boss calls her, asking her to kneel before her so Yoon Hye Jin could take her beloved job back.

But Yoon Hye Jin is a woman of principles. Enraged, she takes a U-turn as soon as she finally makes her decision.
She comes back to Gongjin and looks for the raw fish restaurant owner who offered her a place before where she can start her dental clinic.
The raw fish restaurant owner then showed Yoon Hye Jin the way to where Gongjin's realtor lives, which is up the steep hill.
To Yoon Hye Jin's surprise, the man who has been saving her multiple times when she needed help the most is the same man who now works as her realtor.
With wide eyes and agape mouth, Yoon Hye Jin asks, "Who are you?"
Hong Doo Sik, with a proud grin, answers, "I'm Chief Hong" as he shows his realtor card to confirm his identity.
