Confirmed! Lee Jong Suk and SNSD’s Yoona to Return in K-Drama with ‘Big Mouth’
Lee Jong Suk and SNSD's Yoona are set to make a comeback on the small screen with a thriller crime series "Big Mouth."
Korean media outlets announced that the duo confirmed their appearance in the upcoming tvN drama.
Amid the announcement, several netizens lauded the fresh team-up between the "W" star and the singer-actress.
With this, hashtags #Yoona and #LeeJongSuk became a trending topic as fans showed their support for the actors' forthcoming project.
In addition, the 31-year-old celebrity released a statement through her agency, SM Entertainment, explaining why she took the offer.
"I was drawn by the wise and proactive character," she revealed as shared over Yoona's agency's official Twitter account.

Helmed by the renowned director Oh Choong Hwan, who is also the genius behind top rating K-dramas such as "Start-Up" and "Hotel del Luna," he is working alongside screenwriters Jang Young Chul and Jung Kyung Soon.
In the drama, the 31-year-old actor and the Girl's Generation member will act as a married couple, stimulating the viewers' curiosity.
Lee Jong Suk will take on the role of Park Chang Ho, a struggling lawyer with only a 10 percent success rate.
He was called "big mouth" by his peers due to his personality of all talk and no action.
However, he finds himself in a confusing situation after being mistaken for a genius swindler known as "Big Mouse," hence putting his life in danger.
Meanwhile, SNSD's Yoona portrays Park Chang Ho's wife, Go Mi Ho, a nurse who strives to clear her husband's name after dealing with a false accusation.
Following the confirmation of lead stars, the "Big Mouth" release date is slated to broadcast in 2022.

Lee Jong Suk and SNSD's Yoona's Drama Comeback
The much-awaited tvN series is Lee Jong Suk and SNSD's return to K-drama after years of hiatus.
To recall, the South Korean heartthrob's last series is the 2019 romance comedy "Romance Is a Bonus Book" opposite Lee Na Young.
Aside from "Big Mouth," Lee Jong Suk is set to appear in a slew of projects from K-drama to movie.
The 31-year-old actor recently confirmed his appearance to star in the historical fantasy drama "Jade Lovers," set to be released in China.
Moreover, he will be joining the star-studded cast of the action drama film "Decibel" with Kim Rae Won, Jung Sang Hoon, and Park Byung Eun.
As for the singer-turned-actress, "Big Mouth" is also Yoona's return in K-drama after starring in the 2020 comedy series "Hush."
Like Lee Jong Suk, this South Korean beauty will lead the cast of two new movies--first is "Happy New Year" with a roster of big names in the industry like Lee Dong Wook, Ha Ji Min and more, followed by her second upcoming film "Confidential Assignment 2: International" with Hallyu star Hyun Bin.
