Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha Episode 6: Yoon Hye Jin's Resolve: Stop Getting Involved With Hong Doo Sik and Keep The Distance

In the previous episodes, Hong Doo Sik has been a big and great help to Yoon Hye Jin. Even at times when the dentist doesn't need any company, the thoughtful young man is there to make Yoon Hye Jin's day.

"Hometown Cha-cha-cha" episode six showcased the dentist's dilemma about her complicated relationship with Hong Doo Sik. With the kiss still lingering in her mind, and an unknown feeling in her chest, she bravely continues on with her day.

Until Doo Sik decided to show up at the Yoon Dental Clinic with an amazing set of perfectly white and flawless teeth. To her surprise, Doo Sik opens up the passionate kiss they shared at his house.

Like many pre-teen girls, Oh Ju Ri (Kim Min Seo) also wishes to grow up pretty and charming. However, she finds snaggletooth pitiful, sending her self-esteem to a new low.

With this, she runs away from home and seeks refuge from the beautiful and one and only dentist in the seaside village of Gongjin, after her father Cheon Jae (Jo Han Chul) refused to let her get braces for her teeth.

After Hye Jin sends Doo Sik away, the two girls talk about their personal experiences in running away from home.

Judging from Ju Ri's stories about her father, Cheon Jae is a great man who stood as a mother and father, and raised her child with pride and so much love.

With a heavy heart, this hit Hye Jin close to home. Because of longing, and maybe a hint of guilt, the dentist calls her father suddenly, and talks about the fortune plant he sent her, which just bloomed its beautiful flowers.

Her father, Tae Hwa (Seo Sang Won), was delighted with the simple phone call, and asked Hye Jin to call him even when there's no occasion.

Oh Ju Ri, who still wishes to get her snaggletooth fixed, secretly joins the competition with a goal to bag the grand prize.

The residents of Gongjin enjoy listening to the performers with bright smiles on their faces. But Hye Jin was caught off her tracks when Doo Sik ran to her, bringing sad news.

At the back stage was a sprained and indifferent Oh Ju Ri, who injured herself while practicing, painstakingly wishing to perform in order to win.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, just like what they said. With her severely swollen feet, Oh Ju Ri still performed with her Hye Jin unnie (older sister) and Doo Sik samchoon (uncle), who acted as her back-up dancers.

Ju Ri then eagerly runs to June, a member of the boy group DOS whom she idolizes, even with a sprained ankle.

But like most fathers, Cheon Jae couldn't endure seeing her daughter in pain, and decides to give her a piggyback ride despite his herniated disc.

The father-and-daughter showcased a tight bond which exudes a warm and comforting kind of feeling.

In the sixth episode, their paths have crossed with each other once again, showing their playful sides.

Hong Doo Sik and Ji Seong Hyun, despite their differences and contrasting upbringings, without a doubt, became good friends after sharing a hot and scrumptious meal together.
