"When the Camellia Blooms," KBS2's award-winning and highest-rated drama of 2019, is one of the greatest romance comedy and slice-of-life dramas of all time.

The star-studded cast of the series greatly impacted the lives of its viewers, even after two years of its run, from its relatable characters who possess unique quirks as well as the simple life aesthetic of the drama.

Kang Ha Neul

The 32-year-old drop-dead gorgeous actor Kang Ha Neul who stole the hearts of the viewers with his portrayal of the police officer and quirky Yong Sik, has been booked and busy since the drama's conclusion.

In 2020, he joined the cast of the second season of "Traveler" together with former Wanna One member Ong Seong Wu and television personality Ahn Jae Hong.

The following year, he appeared in the historical drama "River Where The Moon Rises" with Kim So Hyun. He also worked alongside actress Chun Woo Hee in the romance film "Waiting for Rain."

Currently, Kang Ha Neul is in the middle of filming his drama and new films. In 2022, he will return to the small screen with JTBC's new drama "Insider."

He will also return to the big screen with the films "The Pirates 2" and "Streaming". There are no exact premiere dates as they are still yet to be announced.

Gong Hyo Jin

Gong Hyo Jin, who graced the small screen with her timeless beauty in the drama, appeared in several films after "When the Camellia Blooms" ended.

In the same year, she participated in the action comedy-drama "Hit-and-Run Squad" alongside Jo Jung Suk and Ryu Jun Yeol. She also starred in the rom-com film "Crazy Romance."

After appearing on both small and big screens, she took a break with dramas and joined several variety shows in the following years.

In 2020, she was cast as a member of tvN's variety shows "Three Meals a Day" and "House on Wheels."

Gong Hyo Jin also joined KBS2's "Public Land" in the year 2021 with actors Jeon Hye Jin and Lee Chun Hee.

After two years, she is set to return to the small screen with a Netflix original series "Woman of Crisis" as a scriptwriter who writes exaggerated stories with out-of-this-world plots.

Kim Ji Seok

Actor Kim Ji Seok, who rose to fame after his excellent performance in the 2014 SBS drama "Angel Eyes," starred in the award-winning drama "When the Camellia Blooms" as famous baseball player Jong Ryul.

After the drama concluded, he returned to the small screen with the 2020 family drama "My Unfamiliar Family" with veteran actors Jung Jin Young, Won Mi Kyung, Chu Ja Hyun, and Han Ye Ri.

He hosted the MBC variety show "Save Me! Rooms" in the year 2021. Kim Ji Seok also appeared in the fantasy romance "Doom at Your Service" with Park Bo Young and Seo In Guk.

In 2021, he received his first major acting role in years through the romantic comedy drama "Monthly Magazine Home" opposite "Playful Kiss" actress Jung So Min.

Son Dam Bi

The gorgeous Kpop singer Son Dam Bi starred as the girl crush employee at Camellia, Hyang Mi.

She received favorable feedback with her role and even bagged Best New Actress in the 2019 KBS Drama Awards.

In the year 2020, she signed with KeyEast Entertainment after her long-time contract with Pledis Entertainment ended.

Son Dam Bi took a break from acting, but she appeared in many variety shows as a cast member.

In 2019, she joined in the first and second seasons of the SBS variety show "Village Survival, the Eight," succeeded by JTBC's "Try It."

She is currently appearing as a cast member in the MBC "I Live Alone" show, and even received the Excellence Award in Variety in the 20th MBC Entertainment awards.

Who could ever forget the cute and playful son of Gong Hyo Jin in "When the Camellia Blooms"?

The drama gave him a breakthrough role, which landed him many acting projects as the younger versions of the male drama leads.

In the same year, he appeared in many popular dramas such as "Clean with Passion for Now," "Romane Is a Bonus Book," "Hotel del Luna," and "My Country: The New Age."

He received his first major acting role in the sports drama "Racket Boys" alongside Tang Joon Sang and Lee Jae In.

Kim Kang Hoon is currently in the middle of filming his newest drama, "The Youngest Son of a Conglomerate," which will air in the first half of 2022. He is working together with actors Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Bin.
