Ji Seong Hyun Gets His Heart Broken For the Second Time

Timing for Ji Seong Hyun (Lee Sang Yi) was terrible. When he was in college, he lost his chance to confess his love to Hye Jin.

For years, he had a heart full of regret and unsaid feelings. That is why when he saw Hye Jin in Gongjin where he decided to shoot his newest variety show, he tried to shoot his shot.

However, despite being the most likeable man on Earth, Hye Jin has her heart focused on one man.

Not only timing, but also Hye Jin's heart didn't let him this time. He cried and wept and drank booze to his heart's content, accepting his defeat. Despite it all, he still feels happy for Hye Jin and his good friend Doo Sik.

Gongjin Residents Decides to Tear the New Couple Apart

The two are very much elated with their new relationship, acting like teenagers who just got into their first relationship. However, because of the previous rumors the two faced in the past, the ever-so-clever dentist suggested that they both keep it a secret at first, weighing the Gongjin residents' reactions. But because of their immense adoration for each other, they can't help but be lovey-dovey with each other in public.

Poor Doo Sik because when the two are almost caught being clingy to one another, Hye Jin kicks and slaps the village chief, who only wants to be with her.

Since the residents thought Hye Jin was being very harsh towards Doo Sik, the Gongjin residents and authorities decided to separate the two, not even letting them see each other eye-to-eye.

This crisis took its toll on the two, missing each other every second of every hour of every day. Hye Jin, who isn't used to Doo Sik out of her sight, almost lost her control.

The temporary separation of the two was all part of the plan. According to the residents, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder," which was absolutely true.

Hye Jin daringly confesses that she is dating the village chief, which made Doo Sik smile in joy. She also asked the residents not to get in their way again. Not only that but the previously cold dentist reassured the residents that she loves Doo Sik with all her heart.
