‘Running Man’ Star Kim Jong Kook Speaks Up Amid Steroid Allegations
Kim Jong Kook is addressing the issue concerning his health after being criticized for using steroids.
The "Running Man" mainstay is in a hot seat after a famous Canadian bodybuilder, and YouTuber Greg Doucette posted a video pointing out that the South Korean celebrity could be using a drug substance to boost his fitness.
However, the singer-host claps back and strongly deny that he is on a doping substance.
Over Kim Jong Koo's Youtube channel "Gym Jong Kook," he explained to his 2.29 million subscribers and fans his position regarding the issue.
Kim Jong Kook Denies Steroid Use
The actor admitted that he was not expecting to be a subject of this kind of controversy, adding he found it "fun and exciting."
Moreover, he is supposed to "laugh it off" and treat it as a form of entertainment but was surprised that it made it to the news.
To address the allegations, Kim Jong Kook is willing to go through a series of tests to prove that he is innocent of steroid abuse.
"If it's necessary, I'm planning to undergo all of the tests that exist in the world. I finished one today. If there are any publicly credible tests that you recommend, please recommend them in the comments," he said on his channel.

In addition, the "I Can See Your Voice" host pointed out why he started his Youtube channel, and that is to share his fitness journey.
"I opened this channel with my modest body simply because I wanted to share my life of exercising based on hard work and health in case it might help even just one person gain hope in living a healthy life after seeing me as living proof. That's why I'm operating this channel despite my shortcomings," said the actor on his YouTube community.
Canadian Bodybuilder and Fitness YouTuber Greg Doucette Criticized Kim Jong Kook
On October 31, Greg Doucette posted a video expressing his bold remarks to the renowned host.
In a video titled "Kim Jung Kook || Natty or Not," the fitness enthusiast claims that the singer-host is abusing steroids.
Moreover, he also stressed that at the actor's age, he might not have the level of testosterone that his body needed to have that extremely massive physique.
