RAIN and Kim Bum’s ‘Ghost Doctor’ Confirms Former After School Uee and Son Naeun’s Casting
tvN's new mystery medical romance drama "Ghost Doctor" starring Jung Ji Hoon (professionally known as RAIN) and Kim Bum confirmed former After School Uee and Son Naeun's casting.
The two beautiful stars will join the drama, adding a different sense of style and strength to "Ghost Doctor."
RAIN and Kim Bum to Work Together With Former After School Uee and Apink Naeun
Seasoned stars RAIN, Kim Bum, Uee and Naeun are set to work together for the first time in the upcoming tvN mystery medical romance drama "Ghost Doctor."
The drama is helmed by filmmaker Boo Seong Cheol and screenwriter Kim Seon Soo, and it follows the story of an arrogant genius doctor whose spirit possesses another doctor's body to accomplish something.
In the drama, RAIN takes on the role of Cha Young Min, a thoracic surgeon who has the ability to save lives with just one touch.
However, his healing ability and his genius medical skills are jeopardized after an unexpected accident which resulted in his sudden demise. Because of this, he goes on around to find a suitable vessel to possess to accomplish his unfinished tasks.
RAIN proved his excellence in immersing in his acting roles in several dramas "Sketch" and "Welcome 2 Life." "Ghost Doctor" marks the actor's comeback drama after three years.

Kim Bum, who rose to fame after appearing in the hit drama "Boys Over Flowers," stars as Go Seung Tak, a doctor who has no luck and a resident who has not enough experience in the field.
In the drama, he will be the perfect vessel for Cha Young Min's eager and wandering soul.
In addition to that, former After School Uee joins the drama as Jang Se Jin, a neurosurgeon and Cha Young Min's ex-lover.
Uee is expected to show her solid acting prowess in the drama, after she appeared in many dramas such as "High Society," "My Only One" and "Night Night," to name a few.
Last but not the least, Son Naeun will take on the role of the energetic emergency room intern Oh Soo Jung. Interestingly, she believes in supernatural phenomena, miracles and fantasy.
Attention is focused on what kind of acting transformation she will show in the drama. Son Naeun recently showed off her acting skills in the dramas "Would You Like to Have Dinner Together?" and "Lost."

Boo Seong Cheol, the filmmaker of "My Girlfriend is a Gumiho," and screenwriter Kim Seon Soo's new masterpiece "Ghost Doctor" is slated to air in the early half of 2022.
