Producer and director Lee Myung Woo shared in an interview he made a special script for Kim Soo Hyun for the upcoming Coupang Play Kdrama "One Ordinary Day."

In a report released by Newsis, Lee Myung Woo revealed some of the processes he and the team made for their new work, "One Ordinary Day." The director said it felt surreal to cast Kim Soo Hyun and Cha Seung Won for his drama.

Lee Myung Hee shared that from the planning stage, he really wanted Kim Soo Hyun to play the role of Kim Hyun Soo. For him, he is the only actor who can express the character that can undergo 180-degree changes and still can show strong emotions and powerful charisma.

In the case of Cha Seung Won, the director explained that the actor has a unique and interesting vibe when it comes to acting.

He continued, "Through the charisma and wide range of acting of our actors, we will give a new kind of drama to all the future viewers."

Lee Myung Hee added that "Kingdom" actor Kim Sung Kyu is also a must-watch in the series. His unique seriousness, sharp and heavy eyes will put weight on the story, which will be shown in the middle part of the drama.

'One Ordinary Day' to Premiere on November 27

"One Ordinary Day" is slated to meet the viewers on November 27 on Coupang Play. The management also announced that episodes 1 to episode 6 would be rated 19+. It is a Korean adaptation of the British BBC drama "Criminal Justice."

The series has a total of eight episodes and will be released every Saturday and Sunday. It is a survival story of an ordinary college student, Kim Hyun Soo (Kim Soo Hyun), who became a murder suspect overnight, and Shin Joong Han (Cha Seung Won), a third-class lawyer who wants nothing but justice for his clients.

Meanwhile, the director-producer revealed that he and the team made a special script for Kim Soo Hyun.

"We made a script specialized for Kim Soo Hyun so that the viewers can follow Hyun Soo's emotions well. We did our best to vividly convey our feelings by catching Hyun Soo's struggle to survive his life in prison," Lee Myung Hee confessed.

The director also wanted "One Ordinary Day" to be different from other dramas. That's why they all worked hard to show the uniqueness of the story.
