SHINee’s Minho Confirmed to Star in the Upcoming Netflix Series ‘Fabulous’

SHINee's Minho will be the lead star in the upcoming Netflix series "Fabulous," joining Chae Soo Bin.
The news was confirmed by the actor's agency, SM Entertainment, over their social media, announcing that the heartthrob will be headlining another Kdrama in the coming year.
"Choi Minho will be casted as the main character of "Ji Woo Min" in the Netflix series "Fabulous."
To recall, both the 39-year-old actor and the "Where Stars Land" star were courted to lead the cast back in September and positively reviewed the offer.
Netflix's 'Fabulous' Release Date and What We Know So Far
Chae Soo Bin and SHINee's Minho new drama is penned by Kim Hee and produced by Gil Pictures, who worked behind "One the Woman" and "Stove League."
"Fabulous" follows the story of the fashion industry people who are in their 30s and their journey towards their passion, career, friendship and of course, finding true love.
As mentioned, the singer-actor plays Ji Woo Min, who works as a freelance photo retoucher.
He is often dubbed as the playboy because of his stunning looks, undeniable charms, and being warm towards everyone.
According to an outlet, the SHINee member is thrilled to work on his new drama and is looking forward to meeting "great directors, writers, and outstanding actors."
"I will work hard to prepare and do a good job," he said.
On the other hand, Chae Soo Bin is set to take on the character of Pyo Ji Eun, a longtime worker at a top-tier fashion agency.

She has a positive attitude and a ray of sunshine to everyone and never backs down from a challenge.
Netflix's series also highlights the hyperrealistic romance of the main characters that would surely pique the viewers' interests, especially the on-screen chemistry of SHINee's Minho and the "A Piece of Your Mind" star.
However, fans need to wait a bit longer as the "Fabulous" release date is set sometime in 2022.
SHINee Minho's 'Yumi's Cells' Character
The 29-year-old heartthrob made a strong impact in the webtoon-based Kdrama "Yumi's Cells" together with Kim Go Eun as Yumi and Ahn Bo Hyun, who played Goo Woong.
In the tvN series, he took on the role of Kim Yumi's officemate Chae Ugi who is also Goo Woong's friend.
Following the Kdrama's triumphant finale, SHINee's Minho shared that he was able to feature his different side as an actor.
"I think I was able to show a lot of different images through this project, so I was very happy and this was a good set. Thank you," he said.
"Yumi's Cells" will return for its second season. Unfortunately, the Kpop star turned actor won't be able to join the cast.
Apart from his upcoming Netflix series, SHINee's Minho will appear in the new Kakao TV original drama "Goosebumps."
In the eight-part episode, he will portray the character of Hoon alongside Choi Ji Woo, Jung Dong Won, Hwang Seung Eon and Block B's P.O.
