GOT7’s Youngjae to Lead His First Romance Drama ‘Love and Wish’ Alongside ‘Penthouse’ Star Choi Ye Bin
Actor Youngjae is coming!
Another GOT7 member, Choi Youngjae, is about to continue his acting career as he is confirmed to lead the forthcoming romance series "Love and Wish."
'Love and Wish' is Choi Youngjae's First Romance Drama
Multiple media insiders announced on November 30 that idol-actor Choi Youngjae officially joined the cast of "Love and Wish." The GOT7 member was chosen to play as the male protagonist of the series. The "Eclipse" singer will immerse himself in the character of Kim Seung Hoo.
On the other hand, "Penthouse" actress Choi Ye Bin is expected to portray the role of the female protagonist named Son Da Eun. Yoo Jae Sang, who starred in "Sweet Revenge 2," "Fourth Place," "Student A," and "I Want to See Your Parent's Face," also confirmed his participation in the project and took the role of Na Yoo Il.

What We Know So Far About Choi Ye Bin and GOT7 Youngjae's 'Love and Wish'
"Love and Wish" is a webtoon-based drama that depicts the fresh love, friendship, growth, and pain of adolescent high school students. Cube Entertainment is assigned to produce the project. Meanwhile, this marks Cine De Rama's third work that is based on webtoons.
The original work of "Love and Wish" published online already has 1.5 million subscribers who are at the age of 10 to 20 who can easily understand the story, for they are also experiencing the same growth, happiness, and pain of the characters.
Choi Youngjae already had his acting debut in the Korean sitcom "So Not Worth It" produced by Netflix. Now that the idol-actor is ready to have his first lead role, expectations are high on what kind of acting Youngjae will show.
Fans and viewers are also anticipating his chemistry with Choi Ye Bin in "Love and Wish." Cube Entertainment's visual content group head and director, Jang Jae Hyuk, is in charge of directing. In addition, the cast already had their table reading and is now in the middle of filming the upcoming series.
Youngjae's "Love and Wish" is scheduled to release sometime in December in partnership with a famous online streaming platform. It is to expand and reach new audiences outside South Korea.

Meanwhile, Youngjae’s band member, Jinyoung, is also busy working as an idol and as a singer. After releasing the digital single “Dive” last July and starred in tvN’s “The Devil Judge” along with Ji Sung, will now be returning on the small screen with “Yumi’s Cells’ season 2.
Jinyoung will also be reuniting with previous leading lady Shin Ye Eun in the upcoming series. The actress is said to have her special appearance in “Yumi’s Cells 2.”
