Lee Jung Jae's Achievements After 'Squid Game'

The nomination at the Critics Choice Awards 2021 is among the South Korean star's latest achievements after landing the iconic role in "Squid Game."

Although the award-winning actor is famous in their country, Lee Jung Jae has received overwhelming responses from fans and organizations worldwide.

The 48-year-old A-lister was nominated at the Gotham Awards 2021 for Outstanding Performance in a New Series but failed to win the trophy and lost to Ethan Hawke for his role in "The Good Lord Bird."

Interestingly, the Netflix series secured an award for bagging Breakthrough Series - Long Format and eclipsing the British drama "It's a Sin," HBO's satirical comedy-drama "The White Lotus," "The Good Lord Bird," "Small Axe," and "The Underground Railroad."

After his trip to the United States for a series of guesting and ceremonies, Lee Jung Jae scored a Daesang award known as the grand prize at the Asia Artist Awards 2021.

It is safe to say that Lee Jung Jae's achievements will continue to soar, especially director and screenwriter Hwang Dong Hyuk revealed that "Squid Game 2" will push through.

Lee Jung Jae's Directorial Debut
