According to Nielsen Korea, the romance-historical drama recorded an average rating of 10.7 percent nationwide during episode 7, surpassing double-digit ratings.
Meanwhile, "The Red Sleeve Cuff" episode 8 garnered the highest viewership rating and soared to 13.1 percent.
In addition, the recent record of the series is said to be the best record among the historical dramas aired this 2021, proving that "The Red Sleeve Cuff" elevates the Korean historical drama craze.
Meanwhile, based on the survey conducted from November 29 to December 5 by Good Data Corporation, "The Red Sleeve Cuff" has topped the drama category for four consecutive weeks.

Further, the series led the drama category in the first week of December of the online streaming platform Wavve, and behind the scenes clips uploaded by MBC garnered thousands of views and still increasing every day due to public's interest.
