After confirming her new movie "Brave Citizen," Shin Hye Sun is currently reviewing new offer to lead the upcoming K-drama "See You in My 19th Life." 

Shin Hye Sun to Possibly Lead Forthcoming K-drama 'See You in My 19th Life'

Following "Mr. Queen," Shin Hye Sun might have her small screen return in 2022. K-media reported on December 16 that the actress is courted to play as lead protagonist in webtoon-based series "See You in My 19th Life."

Her agency YNK Entertainment immediately released a statement confirming that Shin Hye Sun has received a casting offer for the drama and is busy reviewing it.

YNK added that "See You in My 19th Life" is one of the projects that the actress is considering.

The said webtoon is currently read by numbers of fans and readers, it is a popular Naver webtoon penned by Lee Hey. Romance drama "See You in My 19th Life" tells the story of a woman who can remember all the things that happened in her past. 

If Shin Hye Sun accepts the offer, she is expected to portray Ban Ji Eum, a lady who is determined to reconnect with a guy from whom she met at the age of 18 and she then realises that her greatest rival will be Yun Ju Won, herself in her previous life.

In addition, director Lee Na Jung, who helmed the hit romance comedy drama "Fight for My Way," starring Park Seo Joon and Kim Ji Won and tvN's "Mine," will be in charge of directing the drama adaptation of "See You in My 19th Life," which is scheduled to premiere in 2022 once the cast has been finalized. 

On some online portals, fans are already looking forward to seeing Shin Hye Sun again on primetime. Many are also curious about her next leading man.

Meanwhile, the "Still 17" actress will have her first small screen appearance this coming December 25 as she is confirmed to be the first celebrity guest in "Saturday Night Live Korea" Season 2.

Shin Hye Sun might also reunite with former "Mr. Queen" co-star Cha Chung Hwa who is a mainstay in the famous comedy show.

In November, Shin Hye Sun also confirmed her appearance in the new action movie "Brave Citizen," where she will work with U-KISS member and actor Lee Jun Young.

Meanwhile, in July, she was in talks to work with "Run On" actor Kang Tae Oh with the thriller movie "Open the Door."
