‘The Red Sleeve Cuff’ Episode 15: Kang Hoon Dies + Lee Se Young Accepts Lee Junho’s Proposal to be His Concubine
In "The Red Sleeve Cuff" episode 15, after leaving the palace, Sung Deok Im (Lee Se Young) made up her mind and surprised Yi San (Lee Junho) by finally accepting his proposal to be his concubine.
'The Red Sleeve Cuff' Episode 15: Yi San Misses Sung Deok Im After She Left the Palace
Right after Sung Deok Im decided to leave the palace, Yi San visits her room and feels sad after knowing that the woman he loved the most had already left. He even blamed her for making him miss her most of the time.
He accidentally found the Royal Consort Yeong's book and was surprised when he opened it, Yi San found the page which was torn up. That moment he knew that the court lady was the one who saved him during his childhood.
Having the freedom to live a normal life outside the palace, Sung Deok Im earns money through selling the novels she wrote. She lives in Princess Chungyeon's (Kim I On) house. On her way home, Deok Im learns that Yi San is looking for a new wife, she tries to take a look at the announcement but Hong Deok Ro (Kang Hoon) stops her.
Deok Ro and Deok Im maintained their friendship even though both of them were already kicked out from the palace.
Hong Deok Ro Dies After Losing Hope in Life
Meanwhile, it was raining hard but Yi San went out to hunt in the forest. While waiting for the rain to stop, the king decided to visit his sister, Princess Chungyeon and remembers that Deok Im is living with her.
While having a conversation with his followers, Yi San and Sung Deok Im saw each other and just had eye contact for a short period of time. When the king left, Chungyeon confessed that it was her brother who asked her to take good care of Deok Im after she left the palace.
The right time came and finally Sung Deok Im had the opportunity to return to the palace. But before she leaves, she visits Deok Ro. He feels sad after knowing Sung Deok Im is going to get into the palace again. He tries to ask her to run away and confesses his feelings to Deok Im but fails to convince her.
Days after, Deok Im learns that Hong Deok Ro lost the hope to live and died.

Sung Deok Im Decides to Accept Yi San's Proposal to be His Concubine
On her stay in the palace, Princess Hwabin (Yi Seo) bullies Deok Im and lets her wash tons of clothes. Yi San discovers it and gets angry with Hwabin and warns her not to harm Deok Im anymore.
On his way home, Yi San found Deok Im crying after knowing that Deok Ro passed away. The king grabs her hands and tells her to only cry in front of him. He tries to comfort her by telling all the good things she sacrificed for the court ladies and the people around her.
Yi San touches her face and tries to remind her of their past memories. Deok Im went silent and so he decided to leave, but he was stunned when she held his sleeve to keep him. He looked at her and hugged her, this time, Sung Deok Im finally chose to be Yi San's concubine and hugged the king back.
